Have to say that Gavin and Hugh are both stand up guys, very friendly and professional, and always understanding of any situations that may have arisen. Always sorted any problems and answered any queries promptly, they couldn't have done more and always had the utmost respect for us. I would never use a different estate agent, as they give a personal service and really make you feel like a friend rather than just another customer, I trust everything Gavin says and know he wouldn't just palm you off with excuses etc.... When I moved from North East to Margate 3 years ago Belvoir where amaxing at helping me find the right flat (that would take pets) and arrange all the checks and finances without me being present. I've only recently moved out of the flat and once again Belvoir were on the ball with my check out (even though I had to extended by 1 day) and the refunding of my deposit. I would highly recommend them, as and when I'm on the market to look for another property this well be my first port of call.... Read more

We had a positive experience moving into the property. But when it came to us relocating the agent did not seem bothered we had damp issues and we had a hole in the kitchen ceiling thanks to the landlords dodgy plumping! The viewings he was not there for some and got timings wrong! He also had a full inventory of the house he then said to the potential tenants that our personal belongs, for example, the American fridge freezer and washer dryer was coming with the house! Didn't do his homework. In addition, if you are on DSS don't bother with Belvoir we were told by the agent they won't consider them but still let them view the property as a box-ticking exercise. He admitted that before we took on the property that he was aware of the social issues i.e. drug dealers on our street when we asked if there were any issues at our initial viewing he neglected to tell us. Keep away a bunch of cowboys!... Read more

I am so grateful to have Belvoir as my letting agent. Both Hugh and Gavin have been really helpful through the moving in process and are really fast to answer phone calls and fix problems. Hugh seems to be able to fix ANYTHING personally which has made repairing the shower and fitting a TV aerial really fast. It is also nice not to have workmen you don't know or trust in the house. Hugh came to my house 5 minutes after I called to report a water leak on a Friday night and fixed it there and then. I feel really lucky to have them as my letting agents and would totally recommend them.... Read more
