Finally, I have moved into my new home and so much credit deserves to go to Ricky and Lesley.
You might think houses sell themselves, purchases go through in their own time and estate agents are almost bystanders in the process. My recent purchase was far from straight forward. It's a lengthy story and involves all the usual twists and turns from buyers pulling out, solicitor excuses, no shows, pressure from others in the chain etc. It isn't really necessary for me to post the full details here. I just wanted to take a minute to say that without the tenacious and hard working approach shown by this estate agents I'm not even sure if my sale and purchase would have gone through. Lesley was on it from the start, constantly hounding and chasing the necessary people often before I could even suggest or ask her to do so. She was on it! Ricky was more than happy to go above and beyond from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. Even when it looked like we had hit a brick wall he kept things going in the right direction. I would without hesitation recommended the team at BenwellDaykin to anyone. Thank you ????

I think it's a true reflection of how unprofessional this company is that they are replying to reviews accusing customers of being abusive when there are a number of Google reviews highlighting that their experience of them was also rude and unprofessional- I guess we were all rude customer's and they are the good ones? Ha. Hmmm, does explain to me why their business seems dead. They will feed you lies so you work with them but they don't have a clue about customer service - they might be cheap but that is reflective in the service you would get. I was extremely satisfied when I immediately took my business elsewhere and was treated with the care and respect that any paying customer deserves. I was told my house would not be marketed when promised because i didnt drop the keys off days before, despite them not having requested this- essentially i was being blamed for their lack of communication and disorganisation. Don't think they will be around very long with how their reputation is building....

Horrible, rude and unprofessional company. Ricky and Nicola were both extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone to me, I had to pull my property from being let by these people. Explains why their office is completely dead all of the time now with how they treat their paying customers. Not only that but they will feed you false information so you use them over other honest agents. Reminder, to not act like you're doing somebody a favour when they are paying you for a service. For anyone considering taking your custum here, i would recommened that you go somewhere else where you will be valued and respected

When it came to selling my home, I did what any rational person would do and sought the advice of an estate agent. I had a local agent out before stumbling upon Benwell Daykin on the High street one Saturday morning whilst fetching a coffee.
I spoke to a chap called Nick Aston who seemed friendly and seemed to know his stuff, so I thought why not get a second opinion. Nick came out a few days later and I decided to give them a shot at selling my home. Nick explained how they worked and that communication was key – as evident in the confirmation emails I received for viewings and the subsequent feedback emails.
They sold my house within a week and at the correct figure they had suggested.
Highly recommended!
