Just wanted to leave this review as I would like to commend Paige malik since my first phone call with her she’s been incredibly helpful every step of the way couldn’t recommend her enough she has helped guide us through every stage of the process and has been very quick to answer any questions we had, the original agent we dealt with was very unhelpful not very friendly and didn’t really seem like she wanted to sell the house and it was a battle to get any information from her. As soon Paige started dealing with us it massively improved our experience she got everything sorted chased the original agent for us and now where in the process of buying the house and if it wasn’t for her we would have walked away,She’s an asset to the team and from my personal experience the most valuable member of staff at butters.

My husband and I went to butters John bee with what we thought was an impossible ask after being turned down by other agencies for a 3 bed house. Come January 2025 there would be 2 adults 3 young children and a baby and within hours James Bateman from the Crewe branch managed to give us the news we hoped for. That was no more than 3 weeks ago and this week coming we get to move in to our forever home where we can feel settled and relaxed and ready for our last surprise baby. Was booked in for a viewing at 10:30am with madison on the 6/05/2024, had 4 confirmation texts for the viewing, on the day we arrived pretty early and waited there it got to about 10:40 so I called the office and asked about the viewing and they said they’d pass the message on so she could get in touch with us, didn’t get anything, then it turned 11am called again and had the same thing happen, we left, and never got a phone call or message all day from butter John bee, absolutely shocking after confirming a viewing with someone and then never turning up or getting in contact as to why you didn’t turn up. Will never use yourself again for either buying or selling.

Just terrible. It took 4 days to get a reply regarding a viewing despite phoning twice and leaving two messages. Paige took me through a registration only to be told the vendors of a property in which I was interested weren't accepting viewings from people without an offer on theirs. Of course that is fine but just ask that from the begining instead of capturing my information. Focus less on obtaining registrations and on helping people move.

Didn’t realise I signed up to Disneyland when I booked a viewing to see Micky mouse himself. Organised to meet Paul at a property. 1 hour before the set appointment time, I emailed him to say I’m running 10 minutes late and I’ll be with him shortly. I arrived at the property to find no Paul and no access to the house. Paul doesn’t have access to emails whilst out of the office so was unbeknown to my email? Whether he received it or not, I would anticipate a phone call or some form of communication rather than leaving out to dry. Whether he was there on time and left after 10 minutes or forgot about the appointment - who knows.

I had been having issues because of a partner agency in the different part of the country (8 attempts to contact and a call that was ignored), so I called and was put thought to Ben in the Crewe office. Ben was so helpful and solved the issues immediately. Ben - can you go and show the other team what good customer service looks like please? I won't name any names but the company rhymes with Fart and it's fitting that they completely ignore you when they are based in a city, well known for an idiom about ignoring people....
Ben was able to help on a Saturday lunchtime and has done work that the useless team said they would do 2 years ago, which has lead to my current issues. Thanks Ben!

I was in a bit of a pickle recently regarding a tenancy change at a house I have in Winsford. One tenant had upped and left, and, after a lengthy refurbishment to right all the wrongs created by the previous tenant, we needed someone else! The house is an ideal family home so I wanted a family unit who would treat the house with respect and would be happy living there.
Marcin sorted it all out, showing great persistence, diligence and professionalism in finding and liaising with potential new tenants to get the best fit possible for my property.
Marcin was professional, polite, courteous and diligent at all times.
He was in constant contact with me to keep me updated throughout the process and was always on hand to offer opinions and advice regarding the suitability of all potential new tenants who had applied. And needless to say I am absolutely chuffed with the tenants he has found for me - lovely people!
Basically, I'd have been up the creek without a paddle if it wasn't for what he did.

An extremely poor customer service. The way we have been dealt with on vacating our property was absolutely appalling. It was almost impossible to get hold of anyone on the phone or through email to deal with our enquiry when chasing to get our deposit back. Benjamin Parry in particular was extremely rude and unprofessional (when eventually managed to speak to him on the phone weeks later) and brought up very petty issues of the state of the property that he threatened to report back to the landlady to knock money off our deposit. Overall my partner and I are extremely dissatisfied with Butters John Bee estate agent as a whole. Property management team were shockingly bad at responding too.

Awful service from Butters John Bee Crewe branch. On signing you up for a property they couldn’t be more attentive and helpful. They’ll go as far as forcing you to write a positive google review whilst stood over you before they hand you the keys to a property. Once you’re in, they couldn’t care less.
The property management team are a nightmare to get in touch with. Take a ridiculous amount of time to respond to emails, don’t pick up the phone - calls always go through to an overflow call centre who take a message and then nothing is done. When they do finally get in touch, you get short, shirty emails as if you’ve massively inconvenienced them.
On top of that, they use old photos for their listings. The home we’ve just moved from is now on its 3rd tenant, and we saw the listing with the photos from when it was newly built over 2 years ago. (It now looks very different) The pictures of the garden aren’t even our garden!
All in all… avoid.

After calling Butters John Bee as they requested is even more clear now they don't care at all about the community they put tenants into, their response was "They Pay on time" so there's nothing they can do. They have only in record one person living on the property so as for the second tenant they don't have record therefore they don't care.
I hope whoever reads this review considers twice using this agent for any property purchase, sell or letting, they don't care about you.
This agent only cares about getting the properties rented out, no consideration or background checks to who they let properties to.

I've tried to contact several times Butters John Bee regarding their clients and made them aware of the multiple instances Cheshire police had to deal with their behaviour (we are talking about physical violence and substance abuse) but they don't even bother responding or acknowledge the emails..

My original review was quite positive, BJB couldn’t do enough to get you to sign up however that’s where it stops, the property management team are useless - been waiting 4 weeks for a simple repair with no replies to emails and failed promises on call backs.
I accidentally overpaid on my rent, chased it weekly with the property management team for 2 months, no reply so I offset it against my rent and received a threat of eviction.
I have never experienced anywhere with such poor after service, it’s disappointing that I have had to leave this review but I don’t see any alternative

WOW Georgina Breeze, what an absolute legend! Initial purchase of the house seemed to be slow but this superstar got involved and shifted us from 1st to 5th gear instantly. Three years ago - We were looking for somewhere to move into during lockdown and it was a very stressful time, Michael was so supportive and helped us every step of the way. He even met us on his day off to give us our keys, that’s truly going over and above! I would highly recommend using them - they have made a very stressful situation easier. Thank you.
Now - Having been in the property for three years it is now apparent that Butters John Bee do not care about our welfare.
We had reported a broken pipe in the kitchen to get absolutely no response - so my husband fixed the issue.
Our toilet was completely backed up for over a week before the third time in two years before they set someone out to us only to find out that it was blocked with expanding foam because of a broken pipe - the plumber left a huge hole in the floor which allowed a sewage smell to fill our home - we are still waiting for someone to come out to fix the issue (because we don’t enjoy living like second class citizens we have actually paid for the problem to be fixed ourselves)
We reported our oven hasn’t been working over a year ago - only to find out that Butters John Bee hadn’t even informed the landlord - She has agreed to replace to oven, however this was over a month ago and we still haven’t heard a thing - so looks like a broken over over Christmas is our future.
On Friday we came home to a burst water pipe in our garage - everything is flooded. We have reported it, called, left messages, emailed and escalated the issue through head office - we haven’t even had a phone call.
I know our landlord isn’t the issue, every time she has been made aware of any issue she has resolved it straight away - it’s the letting agency that is the problem. I wish I had her number to be honest rather than being ignored and treated less than purely because we are renters.
