I have had a brilliant service from Carter Jonas Team - Special thank you to David Sinclair for showing me my new home at a last minute request and amending my tenancy paperwork quickly, to Celine for liaising with referencing for a small hiccup, and Grace Wilson for her input throughout the process. There may have been some hiccups, part of the nature of moving, but they were very hands on and rapid acting to smooth out the process for me!

Letting a property for the first time the Carter Jonas Lettings Team were all great and helped us through every stage. The main person we dealt with was Seline. Highly recommend avoiding Carter Jonas ( York ) we rented out our property with them and the lack of communication from the start was unbelievable. Not returning calls or answering questions sent by email, Didn’t even inform us of the entry date for the tenant ( we found out by accident ) and then when the tenant broke the conditions of the lease by moving additional people into our property without our permission they refused to support us the owners with serving the tenant an eviction notice. Having to now look into Legal action against Carter Jonas for failing to do the job they signed up for….

Carter Jonas are brilliant, they have gone above and beyond to help us get our first proper rented property. They answered all our questions and were really friendly and accommodating. I recommend Carter Jonas to everyone I speak to about moving house because they really were so very helpful. When we were struggling for ID as my partner had sent his driving license off they were ringing to check up on us to see how far we got and all the way till the day of collecting the keys they were patient and supportive unlike other estate agents we tried to go with.

Tenant: From start to finish Carter Jonas has been very professional, efficient and knowledgeable.
We enquired about the property, we viewed the property (they were fully booked though and had 13 viewings on this particular day). We liked the property that the landlord had to offer, we quickly made an application with no time wasted.
A very professional women called Grace came back to us asking a few questions for the landlord, then told us we had been approved. She kept us informed very and explained next steps perfectly to us using email. We used Blinc to check our credit files/confirm identity/confirm salary and this was a very effective way of doing it.
The next step is for Ken to meet us at the property on our moving date.
The full team has provided the adequate information throughout the last 4-6 weeks, especially Grace Wilson who handled everything for us and was our point of contact. She provided excellent customer service using great communication and written skills. She has a can do attitude to the approach of her work to ensure her clients needs are met and she’s definitely done this from the tenants side. Thank you Grace

They managed a multi-sale chain very professionally and dealt with a range of complex issues, in an efficient manner, keeping us informed at every stage of the proceedings. Lois, in the York office, was particularly good at reassuring us and taking the trouble to fully understand the circumstance of each party in the chain, enabling the very difficult transactions to be concluded successfully.
