AVOID AT ALL COST ABSOLUTELY APPALLING. We have been treated terribly since day dot, they lied to us about our property and said all this work would be done and it never was. The property was filthy and unsafe, they took all our money and sent it to the landlord without our permission after we ended the tenancy. We delt with David Sinclair and the service is completely unprofessional and extremely rude, he took days and days to reply to us and always ignored my questions and was always sarcastic on the phone.... The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Please avoid using Carter Jonas if you can. I have been using several letting agencies in York, but this is the worst experience that I have ever encountered. They will hold off your deposit and ask you pay for the irrelevant fee after check out. I was FORCED to pay for the painting and redecoration fee that is totally unacceptable.... Read more

I have had a brilliant service from Carter Jonas Team - Special thank you to David Sinclair for showing me my new home at a last minute request and amending my tenancy paperwork quickly, to Celine for liaising with referencing for a small hiccup, and Grace Wilson for her input throughout the process.
