I wanted to buy a house through Connells, went to the office twice after number of chasers I was told that my offer has been accepted, moved forward with mortagage and booked the valuation. Didn't hear back if valuation has gone ahead of not so chased again and was told that seller has decided to sell the house with another agent. Seeing that it was repossessed house Connells must have broken some serious rules to have property taken away from them. I would stay away and buy from other agents. really bad and stressful experience..

They refused to put our offer on a property forward unless we made an appointment with their own mortgage advisor. Was told we would not be taken seriously in the future unless we did this, even though we told them we already had a mortgage sorted.

I used Connells to try and find my first home. They didn’t have a house suitable but Olivia was very helpful and tried to find me as many potential properties as possible. I nearly used Connells to sell my home but opted against it as despite Ruth being brilliant I was put off by reviews so went elsewhere. I'm so glad I did as I have called three times to call to view one of their properties and haven't received a call back. On the third attempt the gentleman was obnoxious and rude and advised that they would not be arranging viewings as they are relaunching the property after Xmas, when I asked why nobody bothered to call me back to tell me that he was incredibly condescending so I left it. I would be gutted if they were treating potential buyers of my property in this way and even putting potential buyers off to wait for a re-launch seems ridiculous to me.

Awful customer service, had no end of problems with my rented property and despite repeatedly asking Connells to sort them out, they drag their feet at every opportunity. Currently have a leak coming through my bedroom ceiling for over 3 weeks now, reported this immediately and still nothing done; leaving me in a cold and damp room. Would not recommend to anyone.

Taran is very professional and very good at what he is doing. He is currently doing my Mortgage Application and with what I have experienced so far, I can say they do their Job very good !. Taran is very honest and reliable, I am not so sure why there are many negative reviews here. To be honest I did not had any experience with others so far, but if you are with Taran, you know everything will be taken care of. I can not fault the service I received from the Staff of Connells Estate Agents, especially Nikki and Taylor. They were brilliant, they kept me informed of what was going on with my application. Their customer service is exceptional.
