If you are debating which estate agency to put your property up with you should absolutely go with the Country Properties team in Ampthill.
At every single touch point they made the entire experience as easy as possible. We had found our perfect home prior to putting our house on the market and the team made every effort to make our sale happen. I have to give Lynne a big shout out for all the effort she went to in getting our home sold in the time she did. Lynn called me after every viewing with feedback and without her, we absolutely wouldn't be sat in our new home.
Sasha is such a delight to deal with - she made every aspect seem top priority and I was never made to feel that anything was too much trouble. She went absolutely above and beyond...even when it got to daily phone calls for the last few weeks of the sale!

I sold my house through country properties and they have been amazing from start to finish. They took great photos, Jake moved things himself as I had a young baby. Their communication is excellent after every viewing and they are very open and honest. Sasha manages the sales and she does far more than her job. She kept our long chain together, being honest and helpful all the way along. When the solicitors needed a nudge, she helped with this. Last time I moved, I moaned about the estate agents and felt their fee was a rip off. Country properties deserve every penny they charge and would definitely use them again if I moved again.

Buying or selling a house is never an easy process but doing this through Country properties made it the best process it can be. Whenever I wanted an update from the vendors solicitor they would always get one for me on the same day. I always knew what stage of the process I was at and what's left to be done. They are always friendly, helpful and 'on the ball' and I felt my house was in safe hands even though it was unoccupied. Fantastic service. Selling the house is the easy part, it’s the sales progression which makes all the difference, this is what makes a good agent in our experience. We had a long period between sale and completion with a couple of solicitor changes along the way, Sasha in particular kept on top of progress all the way, good communication and updates, explaining the process all the time. I’ve learnt a lot about the conveyancing process over these last few months.

We are so glad we chose Country Properties to market our property. Jake came to view our home and he was extremely professional and we could tell immediately he knew the local market very well. He gave us the highest valuation, believing in its value even though the property is unique and difficult to value, the price was much higher than other valuations and we achieved the asking price!
After an offer was accepted I have to say the rest of the team, Sasha, Billie and Ken were also very professional, friendly and always made you feel nothing was too much trouble! Sasha led the negotiations throughout the process from this point and I cannot recommend her highly enough, she is so dedicated and very skilled at her job!! Our property as well as being unique also has some tricky hurdles to deal with, one very big issue which held our exchange of contracts up to the very last minute. Sasha faced the issue head on and got things done in the nick of time. If she had not used her persuasive and very professional skills our sale could have fallen through. Sasha and Sarah were very supportive when our original house purchase with them fell through and then pulled out all the stops to try and find us a new home. Although we didn’t buy through CP in the end I was pleased to learn they were in the same chain and towards the end Sasha was amazing, keeping me updated and helping us get to the point of exchange even though she had no obligation to as we didn’t sell through CP either. I honestly don’t think we would have moved when we did if she hadn’t gone over and above her duty to get us there! ????????????

Deciding to sell and buy a new house after just having my second baby was stressful enough, but we seemed to have got into a terribly difficult and uncertain chain.
