Absolutely fantastic service from Lorna & Niamh at Country Wide Airdrie! These ladies are a credit to your team! We recently purchased a property for our son & had a few tricky situations arise due to outstanding repairs needing carried out before completion (lawyers taking forever) we were afraid we would lose the purchase. I contacted Lorna & she immediately contacted the seller & sorted the issue out. She was so helpful, friendly & a true professional. Our experience so far has been one of many ups and downs however what I will say is the saving grace of our situation has been Lorna. Having sold our house for the 2nd time after the 1st falling through after 5 months through a buyers sheer negligence, she has resolved situations that solicitors have sat and let run down the 1st time in this 2nd sale. My self and partner have recently just sold our house through Countrywide and from start to finish the team could not be anymore helpful! There is going above and beyond and then there is what this team has done! Lorna the manager has had constant contact with me, Lorna has also been getting involved in the solicitor side of things which has massively reduced my stress levels. There never been a time someone has picked up the phone with out the cheeriest of voice! I truely can’t express my gratitude and all my thanks for what this team has done for us. They really are worth their weight in gold! We have used Conor to get our Mortgage and I honestly can’t put into words how fantastic and efficient he has been. He has truely turned a nightmare into a dream, not only has he been our mortgage adviser but he has just about became my personal therapist (sorry Connor ????) so for that we really do thank you Conor! Where do I start. We had an absolute nightmare with our mortgage advisor. It turned into a comedy of errors at every single stage. BUT lorna and Connor at countrywide stepped in and went above and beyond to help us. They literally saved the day and resolved all issues that were nothing to do with them. A 10 min meeting with Connor who sat with us and worked out or mortgage issue was all that was needed to resolve what another advisor took almost 2 months to do. They have been very helpful in every way. For a young man, Connor is fantastic at his job and very professional. A true credit to his workplace. Lorna was personally invested in helping us, don't know where we would have been without her help. All of this and they were the estate agents for the seller, they didn't have to do anything for us but they made it there mission to push things forward. Amy was a massive help too, I actually speak here like they are all friends of ours. we've spoken to them so much over the last few weeks it feels like it lol. Far too many people now are out to do what they have to do... not the team at airdrie! They have done everything in there power to assist and now me and my wife have our first home.. One star cause i can’t give less. Only decent thing in this office is Amy who was always polite. Went with Countrywide Airdrie as they were selling a property we were interested in. That was our first mistake. When our property failed to sell as quick as hoped we asked for suggestions from the people who do this for a living. We were told reducing the price was the only way & it was suggested we limit our expectations. AFTER 6 WEEKS. Within the branch There would appear to be a power struggle going on as we were told conflicting information from their “Mickey mouse” manager & the “rude guy“ who occasionally answers the phone. After 6 month and no serious interest we were informed by another seller within our estate (who was having similar issues with this branch after finding them to be somewhat creative with the truth)that the branch had informed him WE were the problem & “wouldn’t play ball”. This was the final straw for us. Before leaving countrywide altogether we decided to try another branch. We called the Hamilton branch & after a lengthy talk with the manager Nicole we decided to give them a go. After switching things were night and day not only were Hamilton professional, helpful & enthusiastic but after 10 days & 8 viewers managed to get us over our asking price.(the same price Airdrie told us was no longer achievable) Do yourself a favour and go with the Hamilton branch as the team in Airdrie couldn’t sell ice water in the sahara....
