If you are looking for a mortgage broker then look no further! Scott Inglis at Cox & Co has been outstanding in all aspects of my mortgage application. I found him to be very knowledgeable , helpful , quick to respond to any queries and very easy to communicate with. We want to say the biggest thank you to Scott at Cox&co for making what was a nightmare first buyer experience into an absolute dream. We were in a really stressful situation trying to secure a mortgage and from my first phone call with Scott, our situation immediately transformed and we felt so looked after. We always felt like he had our best interests in mind and that he really went above and beyond on many occasions to make sure we had the best service and experience possible. He was always super responsive to emails and calls, always made time for us and reassured us when we were feeling stressed. He was also really easy to chat to and friendly so we felt completely at ease throughout the process. He spoke to us like people and never talked down to us but clearly explained all the processes so we were completely in the loop at all times. (Before meeting Scott we found the whole mortgage process pretty stressful and confusing and now I feel like I’ve also learned a lot about the house market world!) You really get the impression that he is passionate about what he does and puts in a lot of effort to make sure his clients are well looked after. When I signed the contract I was made aware that the agent will not show us around the house due to COVID19 restrictions. However, I had an issue with the door that I wasn't able to lock due to specific mechanism. The agent charged me £30 call out charge to come and show me how to use it. Another issue was that I was unable to start the heating and regardless of my wife being pregnant the agent refused to show us how to use it and told us to search on Google for solution. It appears that COVID19 rules are above behaving like humans to each other.... Read more

I cannot recommend cox & co highly enough. As first time buyers, we didn't really know where to start and the whole mortgage process seemed very overwhelming but luckily someone recommended Cox & Co and i am so grateful that they did! They have made the whole process so much less stressful. They took time to explain each stage of the application process and Alan was always on hand to answer my million and one questions. They really went the extra mile to get to know us and understand what we needed. @John Cox - My husband was out of station and i constantly kept saying, I need to discuss with him and then we'll finalise. I think there are certain situations in everyone's life when they need bit of support/understanding. Even after confirming and providing initial -personal documents- including professional references and requesting due to genuine reasons, my application was not considered. Is it fair? Is there any humanity that's left? Very rude. When asked simple queries, during viewing about the furniture, got answers like- this is not a hotel.. this is not a hotel.... Not at all considerate and the tone during overall conversation from their side was, as if i was asking the flat for free. Never ever experienced such behaviour from any agents. The need is same from tenants as well as from owner/ agency side. Agency is to -answer the queries, there is no point in getting irritated about queries being asked. Must improve on the way to handle the customers.... Read more

Scott has helped me so much with my first morgage. I went to different brookers and some banks to get a morgage but due to being in a one year contract at work no one could help. Scott did the whole process in a week Scott is extremely professional, friendly and approachable. He didn't just help me get a mortgage, but also help me choose the right property. Through out the whole process he was just one phone call/email away. I never had to wait for anything instead everything went so fast that I would struggle to find time myself to even read the documents because of busy schedule. I am extremely thankful to Cox and Co but especially to Scott. I have been extremely busy with work and stuff, but I didn't have to do anything much. I would recommend 1000 times more...... They listed a one bed flat with an extra tiny windowless boxroom and bunkbed as a two bed property. By all definitions and common sense this fails to meet tolerable standards for housing. Either be more upfront about the quality of property you are trying to rent as it was a massive waste of my time even viewing this property. We didn't have the first clue what we were doing, since we hadn't ever bought property before. She walked us through it all, step by step, and answered a nearly endless onslaught of our questions and worries.
