Tamar was one of the worst agents I have dealt with. Talked down at us and was with attitude. I have asked to remind us when the property was available she told me to look again at rightmove, as she can't remember as was too busy with other properties. Came to show property unprepaired, why to bother when there is such high demand for rental properties, will be taken anyway

Would I recommend Curchods in Walton-on-Thames? In a heartbeat!
After having used another leading estate agent in Walton-on-Thames and being severely let down and disappointed, I decided to use Curchods.
What a brilliant choice, and one that I should have done from the very outset!
From the beginning, the team were impressive, clearly coordinated and organised amongst themselves- the best combination to get my house sold for a great price! Which they did, very efficiently too I might add!
Marc, my initial contact, is a real asset to the firm. I then had dealings with Sean and Tony, Stuart and Penny, as well as Andrew, the Branch manager who stepped in when needed, much appreciated given my house was fairly modest compared to others on their books.
Penny, the wonderful agent who sold my house, went above and beyond, continuously keeping me updated and never ever letting the ball drop, and working very closely with Michele, whose tenacity to get contracts exchanged blew me away!
Michele was a force to be reckoned with and a huge amount of credit should go to her - she was on the phone calling up the agents / solicitors of other buyers further down in the chain, then calling me up with an update. I think we saved weeks because of the right amount of pressure she put on various folks to get contracts exchanged. Superb work!

Curchods have just completed the sale of my late mother's house. I was impressed with the helpful and very prompt responses to all my queries - it was the first time I'd sold a house: that, and doing so as an executor but at the same time it was the house I grew up in, was all quite daunting and my queries were many and probably many of them were quite dumb... Curchods made things as comfortable as possible and there was never any sense that they thought I was asking too many or stupid questions. Also, with me living a long way away from the house, Curchods were willing to make several visits to the house when needed and when I wasn't there. I felt the advice I received all along was sound, and I'm very pleased with the end result. So, overall definitely a very good service. My one only gripe is therefore that if you are buying and selling through the same estate agent chain, then it would be nice to have one contact person and not two…although I know why this isn’t the case (for the commission).

35 days and counting that we haven't received our deposit of over 2700 pounds for renting 199 Hersham Road for a monthly rent of 2400 per month. During the past 26 months we have paid all our rents on time to the tune of about 62,000 pounds and that too during a pandemic.
After our last 1 star review, Curchods suddenly deployed top guns from the team to write to us and pacify us without understanding that this has added more to our misery as we need to read more long emails. They want us to explain everything all over again and they want us to complain formally as per their prescribed formats as if no one understands our emails anymore. Ridiculous.
We are now told by Curchods that the landlord is keen on deducting around 600 pounds over the around 400 pounds already agreed by us. Isn't the 62,000 pounds sufficient dear Man?
We have been clear all the time that what they feel is willful damage to them is wear and tear to us as we lived in the property for 26 months.
Hopefully good sense will prevail or else we will be on this effective forum again.

The purchase had a chain of ~6 properties and I have to say my experience was that Sean at Curchods was by far the most professional, experienced and positive influence on this. Despite the covid pandemic, this appalling estate agent insisted on charging the full amount when all they did was take some external pictures and put the house online. They did no viewings, took no internal photos, got the price wrong and were very rude. Having done my own viewing and accepted an offer I then had to do all the work with the solicitors as my buyer refused to deal with them as they were rude to them as well. Curchods are a dreadful estate agent, exceptionally rude and I would avoid them like the plague. Shame I can't give them 0 stars as this is all they are worth. And this was all with Warren, an experienced sales manager.

Very very poor experience with Felice, highly unprofessional and rude. Made us feel very belittled as if we didn’t meet their expectations or weren’t good enough to rent a property even though we earn well over the needed amount and requirements. I have worked in the property industry myself as a senior negotiator and I have never spoken to anybody or asked such rude personal questions the way Felice did, I wouldn’t dream of it! We won’t be renting or buying any properties through this awful company I’d avoid it if you can!!

After getting off to a decidedly shaky start, with what can only be described as two of the worst estate agent chains I have ever encountered, I stumbled into Curchods and was greeted by Jake Wood. He listened attentively to my lengthy property wish list, and from that moment on he tailored the viewings accordingly to ensure that he didn't waste anyone's time. Not long after, whilst the jokers in the pack were adopting a total scattergun approach to selling houses, we found a property which ticked all of our boxes. It hasn't been plain sailing, far from it, but Jake has kept us updated throughout and held the chain together, which has been no mean feat. Having now exchanged and due to complete in the next 2 weeks, I am so thankful that I walked into Curchods and allowed them to manage the search for us. Thank you Curchods and thank you Jake!

In the face a difficult market, Jake did a great job with our sale. He was always courteous and polite, and was always responsive to emails and calls. Jake and his colleagues are all very helpful and knowledgeable, and certainly went above and beyond for us.

Mykyle has been an excellent agent to deal with...From our first meeting he was attentive and aware of exactly what type of property we required. Thanks to him we found it. His communication has been excellent keeping us well informed at all times, never failing to answer our many calls and questions. He is professional at all times and I believe he would be a great asset to any business.

I couldn't have been more impressed with Jake. From the viewing on a Friday evening which made him late for a night out with his mates, to keeping me informed throughout the process. Constantly available, even on his holiday. He is clearly and all round top guy, really easy get on with and very knowledgeable. As a Director at a well known estate agency in London myself, I'd like to say I'm a good judge...I haven't seen many better than this guy. One to watch.
