Excellent service. After using many estate agents to view houses over the last year. Dacre, Son and Hartley was by far the best. They always made availability for you, even on weekends which was something I found frustrating with other estate agents. They came across like they wanted to sell you a property by putting 100% effort into their clients, rather than wanting to clock off at 3pm like some of the others. But they also maintained a level of respect without any pressure selling. They all had good knowledge when asked about their properties and if they didn’t have an answer they would always find out for you from another colleague. I would like to thank the team who dealt with me; Ian, Lily, Dee and Ellie who were all so helpful in their own ways and made the journey buying my house a stress free and easy one. They were always there on the other end of the phone if I needed them and was always so polite despite how many times I would call in a week. Poor communication ! Unprofessional service, made an offer on property and placed on waiting list before a decision was made . Thereafter kept in dark until an attempt was made for some feedback by phoning Office direct, only to be told that someone would phone back to let me know state of progress. No one ever did thereafter! Property in question now sold as it has been taken off website. Would have liked to have been kept informed but ??? Inspires confidence with any future transactions with this company (who like any estate agents asks for feedback ) but appear not to communicate themselves ! This Company is usually okay in past transactions but not this time .... Read more

Disappointing experience, Aleysha wasn’t able to provide us with consistent updates maybe due to lack of information or quite possibly incompetency in this particular role. I would suggest further training in customer service skills due to the public facing nature of an estate agents daily tasks. Struggled specifically when speaking on the phone, unable to answer straight forward questions without bitter, attitude fuelled response. Quite unfortunate as we had brief pleasant communication from others at Dacres.... Read more

I would never trust anything this bunch of liars say! I put an offer in on a house which was rejected a few hours later, it was a good offer and as high as I could go so I walked away, three weeks later I was talking to the son of the seller who said his dad hadn't received a single offer yet, I spoke with the seller myself whom confirmed that the agents had never put my offer forwards and that he would have excepted it!, by this time I found another house and had started the proceedings, its obvious that the agent was just trying to run up the price so she could make more commission, that's down right crooked!!!... My dad uses this company to rent his house out, we had a valuation done a few weeks by a seperate company and the man tnat did the valuation came back and said the house was filthy they had lied about the size of dog they had and he was unable to use any photographs to advertise the house as it is in such a bad state! I contacted davre son and hartley and expressed our conserns and got told by the lady i spoke to that she did not deal with this stuff so would email tne information through to the relevant person and i would be contacted. This never happened so i called back and i got put through to the correct person, i was told an inspection would be done and if it was as bad as i was told then they would be giben a week to sort it out and another inspection would be done, i also asked for pictures of the house and was told i would get them, i have still not heard back from them and it has been at least 2 weeks since we had any contact. I will be trying to contact them again on monday morning. At the very least they could have sent my father a letter he is a very ill elderly man and is worried sick about his only investment i am disgusted with this place!... Read more
