We initially started the process with another agent who made us feel more like a burden than anything else. We then were switched over to Elli who has been an absolute lifesaver.
Elli constantly chased the seller and their solicitor and kept us updated with the current progress of the process. Elli answered all our questions very quickly and made the process essentially stress free. Cannot recommend her more.

We decided to buy a flat for our daughters who were coming to study in London. We did not know the area but we needed a two bedroom flat in a nice area.
We contacted Dexters and gave them our requirements, we were sent a number of good options and arranged two trips to London to view. Sarah was excellent, she understood what we wanted and that we wanted somewhere safe for our daughters. The communication between ourselves and Sarah was excellent, and when we put in an offer and wanted to complete before the end of June, a 7 week turnaround, Sarah was nonplussed and helped us achieve that amazing feat. We would highly recommend Dexters, they are professional, personable and incredibly helpful.

I went to Dexter’s to sell our flat in Stratford after a local agent had failed to within 3 months. The first viewing Dexter’s arranged resulted in an accepted offer. You can’t ask for much more than that.
Through no fault of their own, the sale process was a difficult one due to the buyers solicitors, but Dexter’s were always happy to talk and did everything they could to support. If I rang the office line (which was many times), the phone never rang more than once before being answered. Later on in the process I was in constant communication with the sales support manager Elli, who was always upbeat, friendly, provided excellent customer service, and was happy to give me her personal mobile number (which she probably regretted but never displayed it).
The final point to note is that although the sales process was difficult due to the buyers solicitors, my solicitors were first class. I opted to use one of Dexter’s partners called Simply Conveyancing. I’ve had poor experiences with conveyancing solicitors in the past, and the thought process was that they would be more contactable if in partnership with the estate agents. They were slightly more expensive but excellent value for money. So much so that I also used them for my onward purchase which was not through Dexter’s.

Very good overall experience between offer acceptance and exchange with the team at Dexters Shoreditch. Always easy to get hold of someone to pass a message, and they got back to us quickly despite being very busy! We had a pretty short time between marketing starting and getting an offer accepted so I can't say much about that, we had a couple of issues with the details of the marketing not being correct first time but Dexters sorted that out for us straight away with no fuss. Would definitely use them again if I needed to.

I have had an entirely positive experience with Dexters. Alex who appraised my property took the time to sit down with me and listen to exactly what I wanted and what I was looking for in tenants and time scales and was always both incredibly professional and helpful in anything I needed.
Jordan, who I had the most contact with, was wonderful, promptly and kindly answering any question I had and never made me feel that I was bothering him too much or the questions were unnecessary. His advice was always unbiased and I truly felt that he was thinking of what was best for me when giving it.
Whenever I couldn’t get through to Jordan I spoke to Aaron, who was also lovely and who passed on every message with absolute accuracy.

They helped me in my search for a flat to buy, showing me several interesting properties, most of them at a fair market value. Let me explain; I visited many different properties (20+), proposed by several agents, so I have a good feeling for what the market value is.
During the search, they were really kind and helpful, then when we had to strike the deal, they were able to solve some unexpected issues related to the chain.

I've just moved from NY which is scary as it is and not really knowing the areas well enough, let alone dealing with an agent rather than the landlord directly was a very different experience for me. I thought having Jordan as the middleman would create issues with my communication with the landlord or it would be lost in translation, but I was wrong. Jordan was extremely prompt with every answer to the questions I asked and got everything done per how I wanted it to be. I'm usually rubbish at writing reviews, but my experience with Dexter's Shoreditch has been nothing short of stellar!
Kamen has been fantastic to work with - going above and beyond to secure the property I was interested in, even after I'd given up on it! I'd moved on with my search quite disappointed, but he came back 48 hours later having come up with a way to meet both mine and the landlord's needs on furnishings. And is continuing to stay engaged on seeing the solution through.......Very cool!
It's the first time a letting agency has convinced me they work for the tenant too, and not just the landlord or themselves.
Shout out to Evie and Alex who helped support when Kamen wasn't around - seamless.

What can I say? We just rented our new flat through Dexters Shoreditch, and Kamen was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. He was super nice and responsive and after a couple of viewings he really understood what we were looking for. So much so, that when he sent us an email to schedule another viewing, he said he thought he'd found the perfect place for us. And he was right... We really can't thank him enough!
A word for James as well, that ended up actually doing the viewing on the day and was also super helpful and really friendly.

Although the rent didn't go through in the end, we worked with James who showed us amazing care and service throughout the whole process. He really put the extra effort in to try and help us secure a house and did so with genuine care and interest. I've been letting my apartment through them for 4 years. Almost zero empty time between tenants who are well vetted. Response times to requests is normally immediate. Flat maintenance contractors good. Flat inspections good to verify appearance but not functionality. No longer one of the cheaper options.

For better than the average letting agent, kept me informed, and provided an efficient and transparent referencing ( after I asked for more information). Subsequent rent payments have been received promptly. I was not 100% happy with the rent achieved, but my property was on the market just after the Brexit vote and the market was slow for a while. I will be using them again next time and we reserve judgement on rent achieved until that time.
