Great experience renting a home from DM&Co (Shirley). The process was quick and easy and we moved into our new home within a week or so. Everyone we spoke to was really helpful and replied almost instantly to any queries we had. Evie showed us around the property and was really helpful, and then equally when Chiara took over to deal with the paperwork etc she too was very helpful. Would definitely recommend DM&Co, the process was seamless.

In reaching the ultimate decision to appoint DM & Co to sell our home, we were persuaded by our initial positive encounter with the founder Dominic.
However, our initial impressions and enthusiasm were more than a little dented by two particular aspects of how our transaction was handled.
Firstly, the price at which we were initially advised to market our former home was approximately £90,000 over and above the price that was achieved and shortly after the initial efforts to market the property proved unsuccessful, it was suggested that we should reduce the asking price by £90,000 or thereabouts. We could not understand how the initial assessment could have so far off the final price.
Secondly, having eventually agreed a price with an interested party, which the buyers then sought to renegotiate, we were not promptly advised of a key piece of information about the buyers’ funding, which we contend made a genuine difference to our stance in the negotiations. This resulted in us ultimately accepting a price £9,000 less than that originally agreed.
We ultimately gained the impression that DM & Co’s actions were arguably more focussed on gaining the instruction and thereafter securing the sale and thus the commission due as opposed to enabling us to negotiate the best deal we could have achieved. This was very disappointing after the initially positive start to the relationship.

We recently sold our current home and purchased our new one through DM & Co. From the moment Peter came to carry out the evaluation we knew they were the right choice for us. Peter gave us an honest and fair evaluation, and there was no huge sales pitch or hard sale (a huge plus for us) unlike their other competitors.
Over the course of time we spoke to many members of the team, Alex, Evie and Victoria to name a few, everyone of them were always happy to help, if we were promised a call back, it always happened, nothing was ever too much trouble.
However, Ann has to have a special mention for us, as she assisted on both the sale and purchase, and she worked tirelessly to get everything completed in a timely manner. The purchase of our new property wasn't without its issues, but Ann never let us lose hope that it would happen. She couldn't do enough for us, and went above and beyond, always being one step ahead. We can't thank her enough, she was amazing, always friendly but still maintaining a level of professionalism.

Agent would not arrange even one viewing of a property because we were not SSTC nor cash buyers. They suggested we contact them once our property is sold...sure, we're going to sell our home before we even view a property which we might or might not like! Vendors aren't even being notified about potential buyers. What a joke!

We have a few properties and I have always tried to let them out ourselves after being stung by nationwide agents. It has always been massively time consuming and always littered with errors due my lack of letting knowledge. So we decided to try an Independant estate agents to see if the service was different and I will now never go back! Kate was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She communicated well, helped me to sort out all of my certificates, didn’t shout at me when the house key wasn’t left when I promised it would be, did all of the paper work and, and this is the best bit, had my house let out in just under 2 weeks! As a company owner and employer myself, I don’t often get much time to write reviews, but I felt it was important enough & wanted to share our experience of our dealings with DM & co., and in particular Victoria, who has assisted us throughout the whole process of agreeing the our purchase.
Not only has Victoria helped us by guiding us through the process of agreeing the purchase, she has kept in constant contact, communicating with us on a daily basis and it has been a pleasure with someone who is always so positive on the phone, and always comes across with a lovely can do attitude which is a rare quality to find nowadays.
We often don't get enough time crediting staff and employees who go out their way and make such a positive impact and represent their employer is such positive light - She's an absolute credit to DM Homes, she should be congratulated for her excellent customer service, and commitment she has shown in helping us secure our purchase.

WOW! is an under statement. The team at DM & Co has been nothing short of amazing. I contacted them in October 2021 as we had planned to emigrate from South Africa. The information we received from friends and colleagues in the UK is that rentals were extremely hard to come by and a difficult process. However DM& Co made it a pain free and memorable experience. We managed to secure a property while still in South Africa and within 1 day having landed in UK and sorting out the final paper work we were able to move in. The team went above an beyond, from constantly checking in with us and keeping us informed. They did a virtual tour for us, and have managed this process with utmost professionalism and friendliness. I have been very happy so far with how they have handled everything, from finding suitable tenants to managing the tenancy.Their communication is very good and they always keep me updated. We instructed DM & Co for renting our property in solihull. I initially met Gabrielle to discuss the terms and rent. She was very professional, friendly and polite. Later, I also corresponded with Aimee who was always very polite and responsive. Our house was rented within less than a week. Very good customer service. We were very happy with the service. We decided to ask DM and Co to market our home because we were impressed by their enthusiasm, their expert knowledge, and their dynamic approach to marketing. We were not disappointed! The marketing was exactly as we had hoped, and to a very high standard. This attracted a very strong and immediate response, which enabled all the home viewings to be concentrated in less than two weeks, and was not disruptive of our pattern of life. The viewings generated a lot of interest from active buyers, and Kathy handled all the discussions and queries from prospective buyers extremely well.
The DM team at Dorridge were all very helpful, and at every stage we were kept informed of developments, through to the completion of the sale, which could not have gone more smoothly.

My wife and I instructed DM&Co for the sale of our property in Dorridge, Solihull. Overall, we were very please with the service. We would use them again and would recommend also to friends and family. DM&Co have excellent knowledge of the local housing market in the B93 post code area and, through their database of potential buyers, lined up several views before the property was placed on the market. In fact, we had an agreed sale via this channel before the house was event put on the market. The marketing fee was competitive compared with the various quotes that we obtained. Areas of potential improvement would be communion, which is why the review is why I didn’t give the full five stars. There was a last minute issue to attend to the viewings so the office manager was substituted at the last minute without informing me in advance. She did an excellent job under the circumstances but I’d have expected the opportunity to postpone the viewings until the allocated viewing agent that knew the property was available. Some documentation shares for me review was incomplete or pertaining to the wrong property. The initial after sales person allocated to me only worked two days a weeks which fell short of my expectation but this was resolved when a full time sales expeditor was allocated. In the grand scheme of things, not major issues and all were satisfactorily resolved. DM&Co did a great job to sell my property quickly and achieve completion before the end of June stamp duty incentive ended, which is a credit to them.

Myself and my partner recently had a viewing and put an offer in through DM & Co.
We were shown around by Rav who gave us lots of details on the current owners and how they used the property. She was very friendly and we didn’t feel rushed at the property whilst viewing. Rav knew almost all the answers to every question I had and if she didn’t, she found out and called me that same night to let me know.
We found out our offer had been accepted quickly and she let me know the next steps to go forward. She is a credit to the company and we hope we deal with her through till the end of the process.
Rav has also called me to keep me updated every other day and find out how I am getting on !
We have had a few bad experiences with other estate agents and this has been a breath of fresh air!
