After having an offer accepted, the agency continued taking offers from others without informing us that they would be doing so. I appreciate vendors want better offers, but why not be honest about it? Bearing in mind this was done after doing all their due diligence, having shared our personal and financial details. Truly disappointed in how they have managed this. This felt sneaky, dishonest and a total waste of time. When I addressed this directly to Russell, he completely ignored it and responded with nothing other than "We'll remove your details from the system". Excellent, I have repeatedly used DM&Co for lettings and other financial matters, I have received excellent professional service. Unlike some of the larger national companies with fancy brands that pass you on to different staff thereby losing consistency and not getting back to you at all and not doing their job. With DM&Co I speak to the same experienced people who really do care and immediately know what is required without having to fully explain each time, they are are passionate about their services. I wish to thank DM & Co for their facilitating me to rent a beautiful, spacious, 5 bedroom house with a lovely garden, for my family. From the very first conversation I had with Tamara, straight up to the completion of the transaction in the receiving of keys to my home, was meticulously and courteously handled in the most respectable and considerate manner ever possible. My first interaction with Russell made an indelible mark on my impression as he stood out to have the look and matching mannerism of a true gentleman. Highly recommended - friendly, honest, responsive and professional. Having rented in London for over a decade, I know how hard it is to find a good lettings agency and Russell and Tamara at DM &Co really stand out from the crowd. From my first contact they were very professional and friendly. When a landlord refused our tenancy application on a first property due to my needing a guarantor, they were empathetic and compassionate and really fought our corner. They were even happy to give us advice later as we continued our search and came up against some less scrupulous agencies. When a second suitable property came up, Russell remembered us and contacted us straightaway for a viewing and as a result we now have a lovely new rental property to call home. Unlike a lot of agents I have had to deal with, they are extremely transparent, and were happy to answer any questions we had regarding the tenancy agreement, deposits etc. I have encountered plenty of estate agencies who either don't bother to update their knowledge appropriately, or who will try to keep you in the dark just to see what they can get away with. At DM & Co there is none of this, just an honest, professional approach from a small, local team who obviously know the area well. We have been in our new property for nearly three months now and so far everything has gone off without a hitch - they are very responsive and helpful when communicating with our landlady regarding any queries we have, anything that has gone wrong in the property or anything else we have needed so far. My partner and I have been living at a property managed by DM & Co for almost 3 years now. They are a great estate agency. Tamara especially is always very responsive and kind. The few times we had problems with our property, we got a response very quickly and had everything resolved. Now that we are moving out as we were able to purchase our first property, Tamara genuinely seemed very happy that we were able to achieve this goal of ours. The person who was involved with the respective situations is no longer generally associated with the Company and although she had her own style of trying to help potential Tenants, I am concerned that these people had cause to complain about our service shortcomings. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced! Very rude female staff member, who stated she was the Managing Director. She had no respect for us as customers, made us feel unwelcome after travelling 90 mins to view a 3 bedroom property. The staff member looked at us and told us we were not suitable for the property and stated she didn't want to show us the property, after we had given all our requirements and details over the phone. We are three professional females with full-time jobs, so I found this unbelievable. When we were finally allowed to see the property, it was in no liveable condition, smelt strongly of smoke, dirty and unclean. We were not allowed to take any photos of the property. I was appalled with her attitude and behaviour towards us, as well as the standard of properties the company felt were acceptable to advertise. I would not want anyone else to experience this sort of service, so I strongly advise AVOIDING this agency if you want to be respected and treated fairly as a tenant, as she seemed to view potential tenants as the enemies, which is a very odd business strategy for a letting agency!... Very unprofessional staff lack of communication skills and ability , had the most casual attitude towards my need, really felt unwanted in the office. No call to inform cancellation of viewing nor a reminder for the viewing. Don't feel like stepping in that office again. Please don't bother to visit the office if you want to feel valued for doing business with them.
