Always so warm and professional.
We bought our house from Dormans and then sold it through them 8 years later.
Locally, we would not have used anyone else.
Alongside their excellence, we think it is important tonuse local providers.

My husband and I have recently received a fantastic experience with Dormans in selling our property. Nothing was a problem for them, from changing the details a few times, until we were happy, to viewing times which worked around us. We had a buyer within 8 days, which was amazing as we had already found our new home. All the staff are so lovely but we’d like to give our special thanks to Gemma for getting us over a few hurdles thrown in the way before exchanging, you’re a star!

Would 100% recommend Dormans estate agents. All staff were highly professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Regular updates, genuinely pleasant to speak to. We had to deal with a lot of different estate agents, solicitors and companies on the way to selling our house, but Dormans was by far the best! Wish we had gone to them first. Dormans are good until they’re not. Having had a few friends in Exeter that are agents, I chose to support Dormans as they’re closest to the property and Jeff the owner seemed like a nice person. Sadly my house was managed by Tara carter who was inconsistent with communication, impolite & a poor letting manager throughout ~ it’s shocking. When things start to go wrong, they serve you with silence & contempt! The problem with independents is they can choose to be unaccountable whenever they like. If you are a property owner, you’re better off with Cooksleys or Stags who charge less and offer more in terms of customer service.

Outstanding. Not sure if I'll get the flat I want but a brilliant agent nonetheless. Non-judgemental and very accommodating and helpful overall. Charlie Jones has been very professional and polite throughout my dealings with Dormans and was very informative of the process as well as expectations. Guys, if you have a not so good track record and are worried about renting etc then please don't hesitate to use this agent, excellent overall.

Just bought a bungalow via Dormans. Various legal and practical complexities, esp. probate. Dormans have been very helpful, well beyond usual practice - excellent communication, bright ideas to overcome a few snags, and very willing to go the extra mile. As and when we come to sell the place one day, we shall certainly bring in Dormans.

This company is the local expert, they have the most properties for sell or rent in the area.
Sammi is really thoughtful and professional. Unlike those chained agencies, she knows the properties well and cares her clients' needs. Whenever you ask a question or report a problem, she would always treat them seriously despite you have made the payment. She would even spare time to come in person to identify the situation.
Tara is very responsible and responsive. She followed up issue closely and proactively be that at night or during weekend.
Can't recommend more.

I have just moved to the area to study as a student, I had been looking for months and found it very difficult to find anywhere to rent in Exeter.
Dormans were very helpful in accommodating a viewing for me at the weekend as I had to travel from Reading while working full time.
I found Sammi very helpful and friendly and she has offered advise and helped me with all my questions I have had about the flat.
I would definitely recommend Dormans to anyone looking to rent in the area and I am now very happy living and studying in my flat.
