My husband and I have recently received a fantastic experience with Dormans in selling our property. Nothing was a problem for them, from changing the details a few times, until we were happy, to viewing times which worked around us. We had a buyer within 8 days, which was amazing as we had already found our new home. All the staff are so lovely but we’d like to give our special thanks to Gemma for getting us over a few hurdles thrown in the way before exchanging, you’re a star! We’d 100% recommend Dormans.... Dormans are good until they’re not. Having had a few friends in Exeter that are agents, I chose to support Dormans as they’re closest to the property and Jeff the owner seemed like a nice person. Sadly my house was managed by Tara carter who was inconsistent with communication, impolite & a poor letting manager throughout ~ it’s shocking. When things start to go wrong, they serve you with silence & contempt! The problem with independents is they can choose to be unaccountable whenever they like. If you are a property owner, you’re better off with Cooksleys or Stags who charge less and offer more in terms of customer service.... Read more
