As I was new in the United Kingdom this was the first agency I saw and met but there services was terrible and the property was damaged from the start and now they are saying it's my fault and they took the whole deposit and even asking me and charging extra money from me....I would recommend never to visit this place.... We rented out a property through Eliot & Co, this was supposed to be fully managed. Everything seems to have been left in a mess and I am still picking up the pieces 2.5 months later. So stressful and unnecessary. Have called them today with some questions again (that should have been dealt with at checkout), they did not get back to me when I spoke to them 3 weeks ago. At the moment the property is being handled by another local agents who have so far given me a much more professional service. It's a shame because the property was bought through Elliott & Co but they just don't seem to have the resources or the time/professionalism at the moment to deal with anything properly. I have think very carefully before using them. I would not want anyone to go through the stress that I have gone through in the past few months due to their shortcomings.... Read more

Completely unprofessional when returning deposit. Tom never call back, this company is just a joke. After one dozen of calls to Elliott office, 1/2 dozen calls to Shirley, 5 visits to Elliott office where 4 times office was closed, I have received my deposit! Terrible rental service! I have been with Elliot & Co for 11 years and since the current owner has taken Over the service is appalling! Every month chasing my rent payment often well over a week late even though my tenant pays on time. Emails are ignored, never reply’s to telephone messages. Shocking service. They don't tell you the truth, hide important information. Paid my solicitor fees and structural engineer fees and then that's when they decided to tell me it was a probabte property. Would never recommend this company to anybody. Have been told the last 2 weeks director will ring me but still waiting. Stay away from this company. Update: had a phone call from director on the 25th June, he said he will look into it and give him a couple days, it's now been well over a week and no phone call back.... Read more

Have dealt with Elliot and co for the past couple of years and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. They are always available, proffessional, accommodating and helpful. In particular Shirley Birks and Hristo Khristov both of whom i had the pleasure to deal with. Excellent experience of dealing with the team at Elliott and Co, particularly Jesal Patel, Assistant Sales Manager and Thomas Frutchey. What I liked in particular about dealing with this company is that both Jesal and Thomas were not your typical 'pushy, salesy' Estate Agents, but instead conducted themselves in a professional, respectful way at all times, whilst always giving me helpful advice. I would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting to use them for sales or rentals, and will definitely consider using them in future to help me with prospective tenants on the rental side of things....
