Went through field palmer selling our property as they had sold our flat 10yrs prior and done a great job however this time round wasn’t overly thrilled with the service. Getting call backs or even a reply to emails was like getting blood from a stone. Massively lacking communication skills from Matthew, wouldn’t hear from him from one week to the next. Told me a week after we had exchanged that we had exchanged! Had better contact with our purchase EA. Always chasing for updates but would take a week for him to reply to an email. All the other staff were polite and so was Matthew but he didn’t fill me with confidence and it all comes down to communication with your clients, we paid 3k for our house to sell through FP and feel like I had to do all the chasing at a very stressful time. I’ll be honest I wouldn’t use field palmer again.

Mathew was a terrible agent to deal with.
Put an higher offer which was recommended by other agent that will definitely accepted. Mathew wasn’t happy from the beginning, he’s tone was very different compare to others, he came back to me and told me my offer is rejected even though my offer was higher than everyone else.
I can guarantee he didn’t even forward my offer to seller. May be he has a different mind set up with coloured people.
Waste my time. I will suggest everyone avoid fieldparmer
As you won’t go very far with them. People like Mathew will let you down at the end. Very disappointed.. Definitely won’t recommend to anyone.

We used Field Palmer lettings, New Road for our current property. The team is very friendly, and was very helpful when we started renting this property in 2021.
I’m giving 4 stars only because we are quiet disappointed with their communications(skills). I don’t know if it’s just us, but whenever they’d email us i.e inspection notice or sending renewal of contract, as communication etiquette, we would normally reply back to that email to confirm or to rearrange inspection. Sometimes we’d email them about issues with property, sadly they don’t respond promptly.
I understood that they might be very busy, but I would follow up and call sometimes just so I could get a confirmation or acknowledgement. This is quite frustrating for us sometimes as they are our only means of contact with landlord. We like field palmer and love our current property, but I hope they would do something to improve their communications.

Friendly and professional. But after 3 months of sitting vacant in a newly renovated state no buyer was found. Leading to losses of 3 months rent. Stuck with it initially as persuaded that a buyer would be found.
Have chosen to rent out the property instead with their rental team, resulting in an immediate choice of 3 possible tenants.
(It’s not a market for sales right now).

Little belated but wanted to say a huge thanks to Kieran and the team for selling our house. Kieran came to see us within days of contacting him, and the house was on the market by the end of the week. We had a firm offer on only the second weekend, at the top end of the figure we'd been hoping for. Sale to completion was only around 6 weeks. We would definitely not have been able to purchase the property without the amazing support that Brian and his team offered. Kieron recently came out to value a property myself and my partner were looking at purchasing from family. I must say, I was very impressed as he was very professional, smart looking and very honest in his feedback. I appreciated the fact that he was realistic and gave us his true opinions as a professional and I didn't get the sense that he was someone looking to earn a quick buck and tell us what we wanted to hear. Deanna in particular was fantastic; efficient, friendly, and incredibly promt with responses - nothing was too much trouble for her. I recently used Field Palmer to assist me with the search for my first home. During the period of which I was searching I would recieve weekly calls from Deanna or Kieran making me aware of a new properties that had just come to the market that could be of interest to myself, I would then always recieve a follow up email with the details for me to look at. With a lot of time, effort and many house viewings I found my perfect home thanks to the Field Palmer Shirley office. However, their efforts did not stop there. When a sale was agreed the sales progression process began to which every step of the way I was kept informed and assisted with any hurdles that appeared. Overall my expereince was nothing less then professional.

My son made an offer on a property which was rejected, he left the offer on the table, which was accepted 3 weeks later. During these 3 weeks he was constantly asked to up his offer, which he was not prepared to do. It transpires that the vendor, who works for Leaders, had also advertised it with Leaders, not having to pay any fees with them. Meaning the Vendor subsequently accepted an offer through Leaders.
To be asked again to up his offer so that it would cover the costs and return the Vendor what she had been offered through Leaders.
All together a bit under hand, with no one from Field Palmer willing to accept responsibility or even apologise.
Would I recommend to a friend or family member.........NO. I suppose you rely a lot on recommendations and good reviews ?

If I could give them 0 stars I definitely would! Deanna confirmed to us on 2 occasions that our offer had been accepted and was just waiting for the vendors offer to be accepted and confirmed in writing for the place she was buying. I then wake up to an email stating that someone else has put in the same offer (May I add it’s illegal to state how much the other party has offered) through Leaders and she is going with them as their fees are cheaper. I called up Leaders and questioned this as I was under the impression our offer had been accepted. They then said that Field Palmer had not mentioned to them that they had any offers let alone them telling us that it was accepted! Upon questioning this with Field Palmer they completely denied that they had told us our offer had been accepted. Unfortunately they don’t have call recording so we are unable to prove this but we are now left very annoyed and frustrated that we have lost out on the place thanks to the estate agent getting ahead of herself and lying to us!

The service we received as buyers with Field Palmer in Shirley from Brian his his team was exemplary. We had lost faith in estate agents after being treated badly by other local businesses. The process was smooth, being first time buyers, Brian and the team advised and guided us through each step of the way on what to expect. Thank you again!

We have recently sold our house through Field Palmer Shirley and were delighted with the service received. We obtained an offer on our property within two weeks of going onto the market in August 2017 and completed in November 2017. We were kept up to date as to progress and all viewings were managed and attended by the agent who gave sufficient time between viewings for potential buyers to have adequate time to consider. They were particular good as screening potential buyers to ensure their suitability as potential buyers. The service included excellent photos which were even taken twice because the first set were taken on a very wet and miserable day and the agents were not satisfied with these because they wanted to present the property in the best light.
