Organised a viewing on a property, at a time entirely of their choosing not mine - we were basically allotted a time slot - almost a week on from enquiry. We were told the property had already had an offer on it, but that the full process would be followed to facilitate all interested parties.

The day before we receive a “little reminder” text of our viewing confirming the allocated time slot and the property’s location. Arrived at the designated property on the day of the allocated viewing to see others there also waiting for a viewing (who incidentally had been given the same slot). Some 20 minutes passed, and with no sign of the agent we called their Poole office only to be informed that the property had already been sold and that they’d tried to call us - which is complete rubbish as there was not one message, email or voicemail left, nor any missed calls attributable to Fox & Sons.

I personally have never experienced an agent not turning up to a viewing, whether for residential or commercials sales. I also have never experienced such blatant lies - they clearly never had any intention of facilitating all the viewings booked on the premises and just cancelled those which happen to fall after the submission of further ‘offers’ without bothering to let the viewers know, entirely contradicting what Fox & Sons had stated during our initial enquiry. They then try to squirm their way out of the predicament by making further lies. I advise you all to avoid Fox & Sons unless you enjoy having your time wasted.

Did our mortgage through fox & sons this year to buy our first property, didn't buy through them but they offered me a really good deal with our mortgage, everything was explained thoroughly, so much better than going round to each different bank, and to top it off i am now a life time member, no more broker fees when i remortgage!

We were with Fox & Sons for 5 months and only had 3 viewings (until we gave written notice and suddenly had lots booked in!). We then went with another local agent and sold within a week. We found Fox & Sons to do the typical estate agent selling spiel to get you in and then do nothing they promised. We were lied to about one offer and they made it very difficult for us to take our house off the market with them. I would not recommend using if you want to sell your house.
