What an excellent company to use. Shannon was our main contact but the whole team were excellent and always came back to us even with the bad news. Her knowledge of the market and how to react to the various new challenges we were facing were honest and spot on. Its only when you have a problem that you realise if you picked the right company. I Had a viewing with Elena a few weeks back, and even tho I didn’t go forward with the house I thought I’d take my time and leave her review because of her professionalism and attitude towards her job.
Definitely one of the best estate agents in the area, talking you through everything and explaining things thoroughly!
She made the viewing great and even the house wasn’t for me, she made me want to buy it!

While buying our flat, Gemma (mortgage consultant) was fantastic and guided us through the whole process of applying for a mortgage. She was extremely knowledgeable and able to talk us through each step. Gemma was always available and nothing felt too much trouble as she would always go above and beyond, always getting back to us quickly. We could not recommend Gemma enough and will continue to use her for all our future property purchases.

I recently just completed on my first home with Fox and Sons. It was a bit of a turbulent and stressful ride but none of that is on their side, that was down to the solicitors.
Fox and Sons were really good at explaining everything to me and trying to chase solicitors to ensure that completion happened in the timeframe that I needed.
I want to especially thank Gemma Carmichael who was also our mortgage broker/estate agent that was working on the case. Firstly it was great to have 1 person deal with the whole thing but she was very knowledgeable and extremely lovely throughout and ensured that we got the best mortgage deal possible, right before interest rates went up.
Gemma was always fantastic at replying to me when I needed to speak to her and made the process on her part completely painless.
On completion, Fox and Sons also gave a little goody pack which contained various things such as a couple of cans of booze, tea, coffee, discount vouchers to retailers such as Wayfair, anti bacterial wipes (very handy when just moving in) and more.
Would highly recommend Fox and Sons and Gemma Carmichael as a Mortgage Broker to anyone :)

Organised a viewing on a property, at a time entirely of their choosing not mine - we were basically allotted a time slot - almost a week on from enquiry. We were told the property had already had an offer on it, but that the full process would be followed to facilitate all interested parties.
The day before we receive a “little reminder” text of our viewing confirming the allocated time slot and the property’s location. Arrived at the designated property on the day of the allocated viewing to see others there also waiting for a viewing (who incidentally had been given the same slot). Some 20 minutes passed, and with no sign of the agent we called their Poole office only to be informed that the property had already been sold and that they’d tried to call us - which is complete rubbish as there was not one message, email or voicemail left, nor any missed calls attributable to Fox & Sons.
I personally have never experienced an agent not turning up to a viewing, whether for residential or commercials sales. I also have never experienced such blatant lies - they clearly never had any intention of facilitating all the viewings booked on the premises and just cancelled those which happen to fall after the submission of further ‘offers’ without bothering to let the viewers know, entirely contradicting what Fox & Sons had stated during our initial enquiry. They then try to squirm their way out of the predicament by making further lies. I advise you all to avoid Fox & Sons unless you enjoy having your time wasted.

Did our mortgage through fox & sons this year to buy our first property, didn't buy through them but they offered me a really good deal with our mortgage, everything was explained thoroughly, so much better than going round to each different bank, and to top it off i am now a life time member, no more broker fees when i remortgage!

We were with Fox & Sons for 5 months and only had 3 viewings (until we gave written notice and suddenly had lots booked in!). We then went with another local agent and sold within a week. We found Fox & Sons to do the typical estate agent selling spiel to get you in and then do nothing they promised. We were lied to about one offer and they made it very difficult for us to take our house off the market with them. I would not recommend using if you want to sell your house.

William Shouler if he is still working there should ensure he ensures he knows what he is doing when selling a deceased estate. Does he CARE about finding out whether there is more than one executor. Undermining another agent, one with a five star rating, does him no credit either. I would have been happy to rescind this one star rating for Fox & Sons if I could get a response out of William concerning my concerns but I never did.

Me and my husband have been looking for the perfect house for some time. After dealing with many estate agents, most have been very blunt, uninterested and eager to finish the viewing. However, we had a much different, more pleasurable experience when dealing with fox and sons. Emma was extremely knowledgeable and empathetic towards us during a viewing. Unlike others, she understood that we are very particular about what we are looking for and worked with us accordingly. Problems with them from the start. They are the reason estate agents get a bad name. I asked for privacy whilst we were up for sale and they assured me they would honour that yet they posted flyers with my house printed on the front plus the asking price around my street and local area which they promised not to do. I wanted a quiet sale as I didn't wish my whole Street to know I was moving. The manager lied to us through the whole sale and asked us to reduce our price to attract more customers yet I refused and put the price up and it sold within a week. It proved they hadn't been trying hard enough. Be warned if you choose them

I've had better! We paid a lot of money for a mortgage we all ready had access to. They put the property we offerd on, for sale, even though it was un-mortgageable. No communication between sales team. At the end of it all they sold on my personal mobile number to utilities companys, TV, gas, and electronic. I personally will never use again.
