We have just returned out our flat again with the help of Hamptons in Weybridge and this will be the fifth year with them!
The letting team were all great as usual but special thanks to Nick Roberts for his attention to detail and negotiation skills. Deals are often never simple and Nick went the extra mile with myself and the new tenants to make it work. We also had only two days of unoccupancy.
I’d also like to thank Lauren Walker who is the senior lettings administrator at Weybridge Hamptons, not just for her due diligence on the legal side of lettings but on her human approach when dealing with us and especially the new tenants who needed their hands held a little tighter as it was their first time renting.

When selling our house we had 3 widely differing valuations and Hamptons were the highest of those. The other 2 tried to discredit Hamptons and say we would not sell at their price. Without anything to guide us we plumped for Hamptons and they were fantastic. We had 3 offers at the asking price within a couple of weeks and the one we chose proceeded swiftly to completion without any issues.
From valuation and viewing through to managing the sale (once agreed) the team couldn't have been more professional and efficient.
If we had chosen another agent we would have been many many thousands of pounds worse off.

I've noticed that the properties listed by this agency are quite overpriced. I'm currently searching for a place in Weybridge. There's a flat near Cleves School being advertised by this agency for £2500. However, I found the exact same property listed with another agency for £1800, and it's been available for over 6 months without any takers. This might be due to its proximity to Cleves School, the railway, and the access gate for railway maintenance. The noise from vans repairing the railway during the nights and the trains in early morning can be quite bothersome.

Disappointing experience with Hamptons, lettings specifically. I enquired about two bed flats and was told I could go for 3 viewings on a Monday afternoon. Received no email confirmation and when chasing up 2 days before, I learnt that my viewings weren't even scheduled! Why confirm viewings over the phone to then not even schedule them, what a shambles! I've been in contact with many estate agents around Weybridge who have been so proactive, I would never go with Hamptons again. So disappointing.

So we have spent the last 3-4 months looking for our first home - during which time we have come across countless properties and met many agents showing us the houses. I made an enquiry on a property from Hamptons Weybridge late one evening. Anyone who has been in this position knows that first thing the following morning you get a number of calls from agents all asking the same questions and assuring you that they have the perfect house for us. My experience with our agent, Michaela Simsova, was refreshingly different. She sent an email asking when the best time to contact me regarding the enquiry - speaking to her I didnt feel pestered like I had done with other agents, I got a complete feeling that my time was important. We spoke about the property and our needs. A viewing was arranged within days and a subsequent second viewing 48 hours later. We put in a bid and Michaela was first class in correspondents with us - 100% professional and perfect. My journey with Hamptons may have been brief, but I cannot fault just how good the service has been from the very beginning. Excellent communication in person and via email and phone, every move has it's hiccups but they've been absolutely brilliant and I cannot wait to settle in to my new home thanks to the help of Scott and Poppy!
If you're looking for an estate agents to buy, sell or rent... I very highly recommend them

All the members of the team in the Weybridge branch are very friendly, kind and easy going. They make you feel very relaxed and confident about how the process is going, while maintaining appropriate formality. There is always a smile from everyone when you come in to the branch, even if it is for the third time in a week. Scott Eddy who was our key representative, was particularly kind in resolving any issues that may arise, also he would always delegate our concerns to be resolved in a timely manner to any of his colleagues if he was not able at the branch or at work on any given day. I would highly recommend Hamptons as an agency for both landlords and tenants.

Scott and the team at Hamptons in Weybridge are the epitome of professionalism. A genuine, caring and knowledgeable team - dealing with Scott has been stress-free and we've felt reassured whenever we've engaged with him that we were in the hands of an expert. As expats recently arrived to the area, we've found that Weybridge is a conservative, high-end place so it was refreshing to receive down to earth, hands-on service and advice that was outcomes orientated while reflective of our unique requirements as a young family relocating from abroad.
I would not hesitate to stand as reference for Scott or the Hamptons team for any service required whether you are listing, buying, renting or looking for property management services. There is an abundance of agents in the area however real estate is as much about people as it is about property. Our experience with Hampton's was that they get this and we're of the considered opinion that you would not find more capable service anywhere in Surrey.

Hamptons recently sold our bungalow, the service was great even before they took they property on. Kathy came along to value the property, as we were decorating she advised on best colours schemes and finishes. As soon as the property on to market they were very good at keeping us informed of viewings and feedback, as we were abroad this was very important. Our sales negotiator was Katharine Wheatley with Aaron and Kathy supporting, they very efficient realistic about deadlines, chased up solicitors and buyers as needed. The sale went very smoothly. I would not hesitate in recommending Hamptons to family/friends and would definitely use them again should the need arise

Hamptons recently sold our late parents' apartment. The service was fautless from day one until completion. Our sales negotiator was Aaron Williams and he was excellent .He was very courteous and efficient -tailored the marketing to the right people, realistic about deadlines, chased up the sellers and solicitors appropriately and was proactive in predicting and managing any hurdles along the way. The sale was a difficult one for us given the circumstances but made much easier knowing that he was just getting on and sorting things out. Would not hesitate in recommending Hamptons and Aaron in particular to family/friends and would definitely use them again should the need arise

Fantastic customer service - can’t fault. We dealt with the wonderful Scott whilst looking for our dream flat, not only was Scott extremely professional, he was such a genuine guy who wanted to make sure we had what we wanted. We then also dealt with Poppy who helped us with absolutely everything. Due to the fact it was the first time renting, Poppy helped us and explained everything fully to us. Both of them were always on the end of the phone when we needed them. They went out of their way to make sure we were completely satisfied & still to this day they made it clear that we could call them anytime. We will definitely be using Hamptons in the near future. Just want to say a huge thank you to Scott.
Without him I would never have survived my new start with relocating to Surrey. The support and kindness he showed me was outstanding. He sorted everything so quickly when moving into the flat, and when I had issues and no one to turn to, he would always be there to advise me in which direction to go. I have had issues with a letting agency that was beyond horrendous, but without the help from Scott I wouldn’t be where I am now. He has so much knowledge and respect. I hope his manager sees this, so he can pass on my thanks. Would recommend letting through them in the future, as long as it’s just through Hamptons and no one else! Agreeing to have your property overseen by an agent is not a decision we took lightly and our experience with our first estate agent was not positive but since our move to Hamptons we have been very happy. Astrid has communicated very efficiently with us at all times, keeping us up to date with all matters and we are very confident that our property is in good hands. When our long term tenant left a new tenant was found and all work complete in a matter of days meaning our property was only left empty for a couple of days which was perfect for us as we wanted to get some decorating done. Living abroad we need someone we can trust wholeheartedly and someone we have super confidence in and Astrid has certainly provided us with that. Thank you Astrid,

I’ve had to create another profile so that I can write a comment as I can’t find a way to reply and was left fuming at the response to Phil Wadsworth’s comment below. I was a housemate of Phil’s at the property you rented to us, so I know the full details. Your Google reply to Phil is just another example of your deceit. You said that you emailed us with information regarding planning permission on the 13th March 2017. Yes, you did. We moved in on the TENTH March 2017. The information you provided was AFTER we had moved in so what use was that? You also only emailed us telling us about it because WE approached YOU as we had stumbled across a small notice on a lamppost outside the front of the property. Finally, no, not all our queries were responded to in a timely fashion. We had to either keep chasing you for answers or give up and settle for nothing. You can’t reply, on a public platform, with deceitful comments and then say to email to a private address so that it looks like we’re lying and you’re an excellent estate agency because you’re not. You’re a bunch of con artists.

Awful service from day one. Lied to about planning permission. Never wanted to help us with any issue in the house as they and the landlord obviously knew it was going to be knocked down. The dangerous electrics in the house being the major issue as well as a worrying smell of gas from one of he cupboards. Also was charged a disgusting amount for a reference when leaving the property, when all they did was answer a phone call and say ‘yes he paid his rent on time’.
Overall I plea anyone looking to use Hamptons, not to.

Awful experience. Moved into a house with friends and, in hindsight, it is obvious we were sold lie after lie just so that they could get us in the property. They dragged their heals with any enquiry that we made, and often things were left unresolved as we gave up chasing them. We were told that they were looking for long-term tenants, only to not have our contract renewed because they had plans to knock the house down and build new properties. To which, by the way, they charge over £100 to just be a reference for your next tenancy. Within days of just being interested in the property, we were dumbfounded with how inept and clueless they were as they have such a high reputation. I will now go out of my way to NOT use Hamptons and advise others to stay clear as the service has been that appalling. I only wish you could leave less than 1 star.

The worst estate agent you could possibly use, from the start the lies started, Will an employee subsequently sacked showed us round and promised so many things about the property. Gas fire everything working etc etc all lies, the fire didn't work there were so many faults... Each of which when we complained about we were told they wouldn't fix, we got bored in the end and stopped complaining. The manager Katie stepped in at one point and said she would have a full investigation into what happened and write back to us. I chased this 3 times and was told sorry she has been busy it was coming, it never came... She ended up being rude and hard to deal with, made us feel very insecure about the whole situation. The worst of it all was that we told them we were looking for a place for a nice amount of time like two years at least and they showed us this property, they never once mentioned it was down for redevelopment and planning permission had been applied for and we would have to leave, just more lies and cheating. Never use these guys they charge a huge premium and have incompetent and rude staff.

WE HAVE SOLD OUR HOME MANY TIMES IN THE PAST FEW DECADES BUT I HAVE TO SAY THAT KATHY CARTER, MANAGER AT HAMPTONS WEYBRIDGE WAS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST ESTATE AGENT WE HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE TO EXPERIENCE IN THIS PROCESS. AND EXCEPTIONALLY, THEIR FEES WERE MUCH LOWER THAN ALL COMPETING AGENCIES. SO I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND HAMPTONS IN WEYBRIDGE IF YOU EVER NEED AN ESTATE AGENT TO SELL YOUR HOUSE.

I have recently purchased a house via Hamptons in Weybridge. It wasn't totally straight forward and Aaron was especially attentive and resilient when challenges occurred. He really went over and above to make sure the transaction happened. I have moved house a few times in the last years and this was the best service I have had from any Estate Agent. Kathy Carter delivered her job in a very professional manner, her approach is efficient, proactive and polite with business acumen.
She has coordinated my case exceptionally between four parties on both sell and buy sides, she is a problem solver and her job speeded things up way far beyond a standard estate agency, it's quite certain without help from Kathy my case could be severely delayed, no chance to complete in a couple of months since my offer was accepted.
In general Hampton is a first class estate agency, for example they arranged an on-site inspection in a very short notice, job approaches are consistent between colleagues, you can tell it’s a well-managed team, I think their work demonstrated exceptional value as an estate agency in this competitve industry.

Hamptons are clearly the number one agency in Weybridge.
There are 4 key reasons for this (all in my experience).
1. They are the agents that give you a realistic market valuation of your property, versus some ideal vision or over valued asking price that you have to adjust at a later date!
2. Their team (special thanks to Garry and Kathy), keep you informed of in a timely fashion of all developments in the market and concerning progress of potential buyers for your property.
3. They are the only firm in the area, in my experience that proactively follow up when you ask them too, versus reactive when the other firms notice you are on the market.
4. They are a firm but fair voice in your ear. In what can be described as a very challenging sale for legal reasons, they kept the faith, kept me motivated and delivered!
