I recently sold my London flat through Hamptons, Knightsbridge dealing with Adrian and Geoff. Being a basement flat it was not an easy sale but Hamptons could not have been more helpful. They took the time to fully understand the property both from a buyer and seller perspective. I was kept fully updated on a regular basis even when there was no feedback to report they still gave me a call. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to serve notice on our tenant. He had been a great tenant of ours, so we wanted to do everything we could to help find him a new property. As he is a student with exams coming up, he had little time to go out and look. I went to Hamptons and dealt with Richard. He understood the requirements of our tenant and did everything he could to make the process as quick as possible. In the end, our tenant took the first property Richard showed him and he was moved in within a week. Hamptons Knightsbridge have been unbelievably proactive with reletting my flat - when they couldn't find a long let tenant for me, they recommended short letting my property. This proved lucrative and effective - they found me 3 short let tenants who wanted to let for anything from 2 - 6 weeks each. Short letting the property tided me over during the summer period when there weren't many long let tenants about. Now they have found me someone to move in for 12 months. From the time I simply walked into their office casually in search of a property till the completion of the purchase, the services offered by Adrian Bedloe and James Wardle was absolutely superb. I have to admit that both Adrian and James went out of their way to seal the deal, even though at times it felt that the deal might not go through, they worked patiently and relentlessly till the completion of the purchase. 1/ The original written estimate valuing my house for sale was succinct and seemed well founded. I had a property to 'let' in South Kensington and Hamptons were one of three agents I approached to market and 'Let' the property. I have to to say their 'letting Dept' proved quite the best, the other 2 were good but Hamptons marketing was the best. The photography was brilliant, and they always kept in touch. I had full reports after every visit and they were always available even out of hours guiding me through the process. Once a tenant was found they nursed the deal through.
