We are super pleased with the service we have always received from Home Counties Estate Agents Ltd, especially with Richard with whom we have worked with now on several occasions.
We first used Home Counties back in 2019 when we were purchasing our first home in Potters Bar. Richard kept us informed throughout the process, was always accommodating with multiple visits to the property, and supported us throughout the whole process.
We recently engaged Richard again as we wanted our house re-valued under current market conditions. Again, Richard was extremely accommodating, visiting us at short notice, and promptly giving us a valuation.
We have built trust in our relationship with Richard and Home Counties, who we feel are genuine and honest in their approach to helping their clients buy/sell homes. It can be a stressful process moving/selling, but having an experienced, well established, and honest team working for you is invaluable.

June 2022. I took out an agreed 8 week contract with the owner Richard Lowry, which I believed to be confidential, and firmly expressed that there was to be no communication with any other members of the Family, which he understood, and we even had a password to confirm I was phoning. Not long into the contract I found that information was being discussed with other members of my family without my permission causing me a lot of difficulties. Checking with Samantha in the office who informed me that herself and Cassie had been talking to my Family and that there must have been some kind of miscommunication within the office (So much for confidentiality and communication). I was told that Richard would be phoning me to discuss this matter of confidentiality.........I am still awaiting(So much for Professionalism).
Would I use again NO

Home Counties are really like no other estate agent. They were polite, courteous, good at communicating and most of all they were HONEST which can’t be said for some other estate agents. Big thanks to Cassie. Would definitely go with Home Counties again whether I am buying or selling.

Landlords be careful they sell your property at a lesser value to their friends and contacts. I realised this when they asked me to increase my offer, and I did so, but then they sold the property at a lower price to someone else. They are fake estate agents don't trust them.

Very unprofessional and unbelievably fake estate agents. We were the first to see the property and we agreed to the full asking price with 60% cash and 40% mortgage. Then a couple of days later we called Samantha to pass our solicitors details but she said that we had to increase our offer, and we did so. But she planned and sold the property at a lower price to her contacts.

I recently sold a property thru Richard and his team at Home Counties. It was an easy, pleasant experience,- from start to finish and the property sold quickly and for slightly above asking price. Very happy with everything. The only negative thing I could say is that he's ginger, I don't normally deal with gingers, but you cant have everything can you ?

I genuinely can not recommend Richard and his team strongly enough. After several months having our property up for sale with the more ‘established’ estate agents, to no avail, we decided a fresh approach was needed. From the very first meeting with Richard his professionalism, knowledge and likeability shone through and we had no hesitation in instructing his services. Within a few weeks we had interest and offers and I have no doubt this was through the quality of service and knowledge offered by Home Counties. I would happily recommend them to anyone, they go above and beyond, kept us informed throughout the process and more than justified their fee.

Richard and Tom both offer a highly professional service and I felt confident that they were working in my best interests to secure the best possible price for the property I was selling. They are both extremely knowledgeable and not at all pushy in the way I have come to expect from dealing with other estate agents in the past. I was delighted with the level of service they provided and would have no hesitation whatsoever in terms of recommending them to other potential vendors in the Potters Bar area. I recently sold a house through Home Counties and was very impressed with the hassle free service. Tom in particular went above and beyond what I would expect from an estate agent, arranging for a tree surgeon to carry out some small works and regularly checking on the property as it was empty for a period of time.
I would definitely recommend Home Counties Estate Agents.
