Hunters Lettings are just appalling. I have dealt with Hunters for several years and I was once very happy with their service but in the last 2 years they have become the worst agent I have dealt with. Issues with inspections, deposit claims and incorrect timings on serving notice and dissatisfied tenants.

After 8 months of searching for a decent place to rent, I found a cosy flat that is managed by Hunters. Everything was superb from the viewing till the signing of the contract. Charlotte was super polite has gone above and beyond to show me around the property and take care of the details, up to the contract signing. Had a viewing for today just get a message the day before saying they had to cancel the viewing as it was sold
Really annoys me how do you know we wouldn’t have offered more for that property stop wasting our time by booking viewings to then just tell us it’s sold 3 days later get you act together

Been renting in Tamworth for 18 months but I explained to hunters that due to my mental health issues I had to move back to birmingham post code for treatment. Only to be told that I would have to pay up until January or pay over £500 and keep paying £725 pm until they get another tenant. Even though I didn’t sign my name on the agreement, they did. The manager is the rudest woman I’ve ever spoken to. Just talks over me. So caring about my mental state (not). They said to contact the office but they never answer or return calls. As for the signature on the agreement I must have changed my signature for the first time in over 50years. You don’t answer my calls so how about you call me

We put our late mother's house on the market with a local estate agent who offered us a very good deal. As we wasn't getting the service we expected we wanted go with another agent but was told we were tied in for "20 weeks sole agents contract"
22 weeks later and still no firm offers we turned to Hunters for help.
Within 1 day we had 3 viewings and although no offers were forthcoming we had honest feedback from the clients.
One week later not only did we have several other viewings but also an offer at the asking price.
The girls kept in regular contact with us regarding progress of the sale, additional viewings from the buyers, shared information between the solicitors and any other relevant information.
Our only regret is that we didn't appoint Hunters in the first place as their professional service and attitude is outstanding and we'd definitely recommend them to others. *****

From my initial dealings through to completion the whole team I dealt with - Lyndsey,Jordan , Pippa and Leah have been brilliant!
It’s a real personal service and you feel they work really hard to ensure the sales process is as stress free as possible and where hurdles do appear they work hard to overcome them.
I would highly recommend them without hesitation and yes on line agents are cheaper but you just won’t get the same level of service Hunters Tamworth deliver.

Did a fantastic job selling my flat. It wasn't easy as the tenants in there at the time weren't co operating and the 'mini (Tory disaster) budget' spooked the market and caused a buyer to pull out.
But the staff persevered, worked really hard and got the property sold at a great price.
I will 100% use Hunters again for future property matters and I highly recommend them.

We engaged Hunters following reviewing 5 agents in Tamworth and by far based on experience and knowledge, we knew Graham and the team at Hunters were the agents as soon as he left the property!
We needed a sale within 3 weeks (…actually achieved a sale in 4 with two potential buyers (no chain!). Hunters did our viewings for us, and felt comfortable giving them a key to our home.
They kept us actively involved and informed though the whole process and acted with urgency when our first buyer pulled out. They acted promptly on instruction when we needed something from them and committed time in the evening outside of their working hours to speak with parties where required.
Their service standards are consistent from start to finish (and even after the sale!)
Nothing was to much for the team, who were incredibly welcoming, professional and personable and made the whole buying and selling experience less stressful!

I've had the privilege of dealing with both Sharon McEvoy and Kaitlin Wray.
Sharon's knowledge of the Letting Business is Exceptional and has always gone above and beyond to help me through to get my property Let smoothly on previous occasions.....
This time Kaitlin (their newest member i think) has dealt with my Let....and she has been amazing...she went above and beyond too..in Letting my property out again and helped me with things i'd overlooked..a credit to her team.

The marketing photographs and advert were really lovely and showed off our house in its’ best light. The initial meeting gave us the chance to ask plenty of questions and explore a few scenarios which we found very helpful and we felt like plenty of time had been set aside to do this thoroughly. We sold during the lockdown so viewings were done virtually first so we only saw people who were genuinely interested which saved time wasting and stress. Once we had accepted an offer, communication was good even when things were painfully slow due to COVID and when there were hiccups along the way the Hunters staff tried hard to help as much as possible. They answered calls and emails quickly and always got back to us when they said they would. The price was agreed at the outset so there was no hidden charges or worries. In the most stressful of times the sale went through relatively smoothly and in a timely fashion, we were pleased with the service, thank you Hunters!

I wanted to share around how amazing the team were at the Tamworth branch.
Alan, Pippa & Sophie was my main point of contacts and often when purchasing a property the agents are not always a priority it’s always about the vendor selling. However as a buyer they were excellent regular updates, good communication and really flexible in terms of viewings. If you are in the market to sell your home remember this for most people will be the biggest asset you own, you want someone who is going to work for you and safe to say if we ever look to move it will be Hunters and will recommend to friends and family.
Pippa was excellent and in times when things needed to be sorted she was straight to it and honest which in this market a lot of the time you can be told what you want to hear. Thank you all for your work, even in the current climate on the day of collecting the keys they went out of their way so much even with some slight delays on the day due to our buyers solicitors.

Badly advised and no communication. We are dissapointed for going with them in the first place waste of time. They sent someone really polite and "cheesy" and very confident that he will sell our house for £225K ( he never did one single viewing by the way). Then when we gave them notice to end our contract we didn't received not answer at all.
And most of viewings we had to do it because they were booked after 5pm.

Once I had taken the decision to sell, I had the property appraised by Hunters. I was happy with the value that Allan gave me so I instructed them to sell for me. Worst estate agent in Tamworth, had issues with them buying and selling over the last few years. And be carful, they tie you in for 12 weeks so you can’t sell with anyone else but dont tell you. Also, they over price your house making it difficult to sell. When you have problems they just ignore your calls!

I purchased a house via Hunters (Tamworth) and the main criticism is their lack of communication! I asked repeatedly about an alarm system relating to the house I bought off them and got no reply. Following completion I emailed them and guess what, no reply. A poor service and if I was selling a house I would never use them, there are plenty of others in Tamworth who are better!

I was not happy with the service I received from Hunters. They marketed my property, and during the time it was for sale we barely heard from them at all. When the property didn't sell in a couple of weeks they lost interest, were often rude on the phone and failed to generate accurate property details despite numerous requests. When we visited the branch to discuss these problems on a saturday afternoon, we found them 'closed for lunch'. All the other estate agents were open. Say no more.
