But this didn't defeat Paul, he sold it again for a second time round and managed to get the full asking price that I so desperately needed in order to purchase my next property. Not only did he sell my house, but went above and beyond to assist with the surveyors and also the key collection on the day of completion. You won't find a better estate agents around. Belvoir managed four properties for my wife and I over roughly a five year period.
Both my wife and I were very busy running our retail business and therefore paid very little attention to our four properties in Tamworth as they were being managed for us.
During covid we had to close our retail business and therefore had much more time to spend on our property business.
Looking at the four properties managed by Belvoir we found that one had been vacant for several months one was in rent arrears that had been accumulating over several years to the amount of around £5000.
Unauthorised amounts of money were being deducted, monthly from the income on all four properties.
None of our properties were being managed properly by this agent and one property was being managed that badly that it needed over £30,000 spending on it after evicting the tenant.
We ended up taking Belvoir to court on two separate occasions and the Judge ruled in our favour in one case where Belvoir had to pay us a sum of money, but unfortunately not in the other as Belvoir came up with a piece of evidence in court which we had been asking for over the previous three years but didn't receive it.
We now successfully manage our own properties and when we need to re-let a property we use OpenRent to advertise the property on Rightmove and Zoopla for just £29! And how much money does an estate agent want to do the same job?

Honestly if I could give 10 stars, I would, I cannot recommend Belvoir and especially Paul highly enough.
My Aunts house had gone through probate, and I tried a few estate agents. The rest were straight to business and measuring up, giving me their costs etc. Paul walked in and asked about the house, its history, my Aunt, and we must have just chatted for about 20 minutes, allowing me to reminisce over the past 50 years. Paul took an interest, making him very personable.
For the actual sale, his rates beat all of the others, and he did exactly what was needed when it was needed. There was no pressure, he just gave all parties a gentle nudge when it was needed, and stayed away when nothing was needed. He was available any time I needed.
From start to finish, the whole experience of selling the house was a breeze, and I'm absolutely certain that Paul's influence is a huge part of why the process was so smooth.

I've recently sold a property via Belvoir Tamworth after using their lettings services as a landlord for 10 years. In the 10 years using their lettings services the team were excellent in finding great tenants who paid on time and kept the property clean and tidy. Belvoir just got on with managing the property and dealing with the tenants with myself very rarely needing to get involved.
When it came to selling, I worked with Belvoir again who found me a buyer straight away. The team there were easily contactable throughout the process and were professional and diligent in any dealings.

Paul provides a personal service at a really good price he was available anytime I needed an update and was very responsive. He enabled me to sell my house how I wanted to do it without too much pressure on pricing etc. He was also careful to ensure any viewers were actually in a position to purchase rather than have time-wasters traipsing through the house every day. All of this was done within days of the Coronavirus lockdown being lifted which was a challenging time for all businesses.
We couldn’t be happier with our new home and having a pretty much glitch free sale made the whole experience a pleasant one.
