We felt comfortable dealing with Laura and her team right from the very first meeting. We chose Hunters and have not had any reason to question our choice, as they have exceeded our expectations in all areas. We were not local and relied on them to handle all details of viewings etc. Once we had a prospective buyer then they kept us informed of all relevant details relating to the progress of the sale. Hunters have always given a good service. On this occasion, it was exceptional! I had agreed to buy a property and then went abroad for many months. My solicitors were slow and communication was lacking (to say the least) exacerbated by being half way round the world.
However, Laura and Theresa really did a great job in keeping everyone informed, everyone on-board and keeping everything moving. Basically, without them I doubt if I would be the owner today!!!
The customer service didn't end after completion, they were really helpful in arranging access for various trades, as I was still abroad, and obtaining further necessary information from the previous owner even many weeks later. An excellent after sales service.

Ours was a difficult case - a jointly held property between three people with a couple of buyers pulling out at late stages. However, Hunters communicated with us all throughout the whole process flawlessly and really put in some effort to keep things on track, chasing up solicitors when needed and ultimately finding us a buyer who was able to complete quickly. It was a lot of work and I'm very grateful to them for helping us out!

My parents bought a new house through Hunters. The team have been very helpful throughout. There were a few challenges and delays along the way. Laura in particular was wonderful; she kept everything on track, worked out where the problems were and ensured everyone involved (solicitors and estate agents) sorted things and keep the process moving. She was brilliant at keeping us updated, keeping me in the loop alongside my parents so I could support them. And she did all in a really friendly and engaging way. I would not hesitate in recommending her.

From my initial call from Holly to arrange a viewing on a property, we liked , to buying the property, I found them both to be professional and very responsive.
Laura was amazing at progressing the sale, she was chasing everyone every step of the way..
Ours was a fairly long chain with different solicitors and not an easy one, but Laura ALWAYS called me back if she couldn’t answer immediately and was so knowledgable and helpful through the whole process.
If I ever sold my house (which I doubt) I would most definitely use Hunters, Tenterden.

The service from Hunters has been outstanding from the start. Unfortunately our sale did not go through as our buyer let us down at the last minute, but there was absolutely nothing they could have done about this (after 10 months of hard work on our behalf!) and they were very comforting to us in this situation. Andrew, Ashley, Holly and Laura are all incredibly professional and hard working. I've sold many houses over the years and the service level from this particular agency is better than any I've ever experienced. You can't do better than choosing them!

We've just completed on our purchase in Tenterden and wanted to post a review because the service from Hunters, in particular Laura, was 1st class. We're not planning on moving any time soon but if we did I wouldn't hesitate to sell through Hunters Tenterden. Laura handled our progression and I truly believe that if it wasn't for her approach; patience; solid communication skills and just being kind, that we'd still be at our old address now. She managed the chain whilst rightfully protecting the interests of her client. Very professional outfit, great team, some super individuals. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Special thanks to Laura, Ashleigh and Andrew at the Tenterden Branch and Lucy and her colleagues at the Ashford Branch who helped make the house selling and buying process very straight forward and without stress.
On previous house moves I have kept each stage of the house move process separate, using a different estate agent to sell my house than the property I am interested in buying and using a separate legal team to manage the searches and transactions. On this occasion I used Hunters for all services including the conveyancing and have to say I was very impressed with the service given and would definitely recommend all services.
I would certainly use Hunters Estate Agents and their conveyancing team again and would be confident to recommend their services to friends and family.

At first myself and my wife thought this was a good local estate agents. Polite on the phone, on time for viewing and look very respectful. However we viewed a rental property and made an offer on it, all seemed well and was told we would be informed of the decision later on that afternoon. No call or email followed. I later made the call to get an update and I was informed the offer was too low and Hunters gave myself the new asking rental price which I accepted. Once again I was told I would be updated again soon. 4 days passed with no call or email, so once again I make the call only to be told the new offer (given to me by Hunters) is too low and the property has been offered to someone else because the agent feels we couldn't afford it. No paperwork had been submitted to the agent, so this was made on a assumption. I could quite comfortably pay a year up front but I was given No options!!!!

Useless staff, we viewed a property to rent, we were told they would contact us which they didn't for 2 days, then when we rang they said they would contact the landlady to then have no call back. We've rang nearly a week later to be told we can't afford the property which to be honest they don't know because they haven't asked for any paperwork. I would not recommend hunters to sell your house or even rent out your property. May well be our faces they didn't like but just very bad customer service!!!

I sold my house through Hunters last year. I'd lost a previous buyer which was a hellish experience but Andrew found us a really committed couple to buy and handled the sale through any glitches. He took the time and trouble to chase the process, resolve any problems and was absolutely professional throughout. Hunters got us less people to view but each and every one had been fully briefed properly and expressed far more interest than the many viewers the other agent had got us, I was pleased that Hunters took out the time wasters from the equation. We are now really happy in our new house thanks to Hunters, we'd really recommend them. They've also just handled my sister's purchase and again were brilliant - they really showed up the other agents!

Cannot thank all the staff at Hunters enough, for their kind help and support through all the many stages of my house sale. Not only did they keep me informed, every step of the way, but went that extra mile with sorting out other problems that tend to crop up with these transactions. They are easy to talk to, explain all the different stages, and nothing seems too much trouble, in my opinion well worth the cost, as opposed to other cheaper companies. You cannot put a price on excellent service and a friendly voice to talk too at what can be a very stressful time.
