I moved to James from another agent in Wallingford who were absolutely terrible. He was recommended to me and was very upfront and honest from the beginning. James sold my house after only around 5 viewings. His level of communication was very high and was very efficient at getting back to me no matter what day or time. He kept me up to date constantly which was very welcome. James went above and beyond to help me with this sale and gave me a lot of sound advice, keeping me calm during the process. Even after the sale he kept in touch daily to help me get my purchase through. James Is always willing to go the extra mile. We had gone with another agent initially however they were beyond awful and my husband and I found ourselves in America with our house in the UK still not let. I contacted James who was extremely helpful and responsive, especially considering he was on holiday at the time. It took 4 days between when we instructed James to having the house let. Amazing! I had a property in Windsor and where I was living in Switzerland. James and the team did a great job to ensure the tenant was happy and stayed for three years, and from my perspective I did not have to worry about small issues and repairs as the rental team managed all of this and keeping me updated. Have previously had some bad experiences with Letting Agents but everything went like clockwork. Within a week they had organised 4 viewings, profiled the applicants and provided solid recommendations regarding the best way forward. Documentation was painless and both the communication and response time was excellent. Speaking with the tenants (both incoming and outgoing) they were also more than happy with the way James Gesner’s dealt with them and this is also an important consideration for me. Rental assessment was accurate and received with monthly statements always received and clearly laid out. James and the team have been absolutely fantastic over the last 8 years. We have rented, purchased and sold through them and quite frankly we wouldn't go anywhere else. Nothing is too much for their staff (special mention to Holly and David) and they are always willing to go the extra mile, this was particularly evident when we were searching for properties. They were always proactive, they kept in touch and really understood what we were looking for and came up trumps every time and to be honest it was one of the reasons we sold through them too. The office staff are rude, arrogant and unhelpful, you are expected to work around them be it your on nights or busy etc they just expect to do viewings regardless. You don't feel like a customer with the issues they cause. renewals and normal correspondence goes into a black hole for weeks at a time and as such have a total lack in being able to communicating properly. Out of all the letting agent agents I have delt with over the last 10 years these are the worst.... Read more
