Would highly recommend, Very attentive and great service. Marta was really helpful and went above and beyond.
Re-review: Typical for estate agents, they are great when you are trying to get a house then when they are getting rent they no longer care. We had graffiti on the side of our house for nearly a year and nothing was done to remove it. We never received any compensation for this.
We went for an early release from the property (which we had to pay for), instead of marketing the house for immediate availability, they marketed it for the end of our tenancy. This led to us having to pay months of rent while the house was vacant. Honestly shocking service, would not recommend.

Having attempted to sell our house with another agent and having no success and a frustrating experience, the difference with having Church Robinson market our house was night and day. Holly and James provided us with a detailed appraisal and strategy for the sale, with thorough knowledge of the market in the local area. Within 3 days of putting our house on the market, we accepted an offer and were confident that Church Robinson had secured us a buyer that was likely to not pull out. The remainder of the sale was eased with great communication from Dawn, who kept our solicitor on track. I could not fault Church Robinson at all and only wish I had gone with them first time around. I had no hesitation in recommending them to friends and neighbours who were interested in selling. The best estate agent in Didcot!

The purchasing of the property started off ok enough. They strongly recommended to use the solicitors they usually work with under the premise that communication would be better and things would move faster because of their ongoing relationship. That did not happen and after a week and a half of not being able to get in touch with the solicitors we had to swap and start all over with a different firm. Vanessa from CR kept calling me over the phone accusing me of delaying the process, wasting people’s time and not being serious. She kept saying things like ‘the vendors went with you because you said you wanted a quick turnaround and look at what you are doing now’. Utterly unacceptable and unprofessional and THEIR fault actually for recommending solicitors that were so busy that just could not take anymore work on. The phone calls kept coming and she kept on being pushy despite us doing things as fast as we possibly could having just lost two weeks because of the solicitor issues. I would cry over the phone with the new solicitors (who were helpful and understanding) begging them to hurry so that CR would leave me alone. Vanessa even accused us of making the sellers’ children miss getting a place in the new school because they had no guarantee of moving out on time because of us delaying. We ended up contacting Mr. Church himself (can’t remember his first name), we explained everything that had happened and how we were being treated and he agreed to take over. From there on things went fine, he was very polite and responsive and eventually we completed and moved in. Since then I’ve heard from other people in the estate that have also purchased through them and it seems they have similar poor experiences.
That being said, people who have sold with them were happy so I guess how things go with them depends what side of the transaction you are in.

I can’t rate Church Robinson highly enough. We were in the process of buying a property through them when the sale on our own property fell through. We had a discussion with Holly and Gary and made the decision to list our property with them and we are so pleased that we did. It was an upsetting time for us as the previous process had taken so long, before ultimately falling through, but they were so efficient and professional, but also very kind. We had an offer on our flat almost immediately and have recently exchanged. The team @ Church Robinson have been fantastic and I couldn’t fault them. After listing with a different agent and having a sale fall through 24 hours before exchange, I was sceptical to say the least that estate agents can deliver on their sales pitch. How lucky was I that Holly had kept in touch regardless of the fact we were selling with someone else and when it fell through meeting with Holly and the team convinced me to change tact.
It was the best decision that I made, even this sale was not without its issues, but with great communication and a massive influence by the brilliant Dawn we finally got the sale over the line. Dawn should be wrapped in gold as I’m convinced without her it would never of happened, not due to Church but our chain. Dawn kept everyone on track and we can finally move on.

I recently brought a house via Church Robinson (CR). I appreciate CR's detailed Rightmove adverts, it made it much quicker to narrow properties down. The agent who showed me around the property I brought (Raffaele) was genuinely helpful in facilitating access to the parts I wanted to see.
Sometimes things go wrong during completion that are out of your (and in my case the estate agents) hands. However, I was pleasantly surprised when CR helped out after completion to negotiate between myself and the vendors. Bing thanks to Jo for helping with that (and helping me find the water meter a block away).
If I need to sell in the future I would go with CR based on my experience.

My only recomendation to first time buyers( those ones a bit clueless like me) : We bought a house that someone inherited, and the person that showed as the house, told us the process was going to be very fast, as the house was empty. However, the sellers did not have the probate that allow them to sell the hosue, which delayed the process at least 2 months, if you are looking for a fast process, ask if the sellers have the probate or when they applied to get it.

Raffaele and Jade are a real credit to this team, they made us feel so secure that they were trying all they could to sell our house and a sneaky peak on the dog cam confirmed they were. When our buyers fell through Raffaele in particular made us feel valued and assured us he would be working tirelessly to make sure we didn’t loose the property we had offered on and he stayed true to his word. I do think more support could be offered post offer with the sales progression as I didn’t find ASAP particularly helpful, but the sales side was fab.

We recently sold our house through Church Robinson and feel very let down by the service they delivered. Church Robinson messed up in a major way at the stage where we received offers on our house. After holding an open house they emailed us with the details of two offers received and stated in writing “We have now collated all the feedback from this weekends open house”. We accepted an offer at the lower end of what they had forecast when they were pitching their business to us. After we had accepted an offer, many hours later, we got a sheepish phone call from them informing us of a third offer that had come in. So they had not bothered to contact all the prospective buyers after the open house viewings and they also misled us about the actions they had taken to contact people after the viewings (before pressuring us to accept a sub-optimal offer). It is abundantly clear to me that we would have got a better price for our property had we gone with a different agent. The impression I have of Church Robinson is that they are rushing things, cutting corners and simply want the sold sign to go up asap. With the benefit of hindsight I wish I had instructed an estate agent that would have spent more time, care and attention on the sale of the property and communicated with us in an open and transparent way.

We recently viewed a property with Jade Broome of Church Robinson and were immediately impressed. Jade was welcoming and friendly but not imposing and took care for COVID safety, ensuring we work masks, removed shoes and wore gloves to protect both ourselves and the owners of the house. Before we looked at the property she told us all the commonly asked information such as age of boiler etc, which was a refreshing change and came across very professional. We have viewings with other estate agents who said they would only answer our questions if we were serious and going to put an offer in! In addition, the process of making an offer and providing all correct documentation was made easy as we were provided us with a list of what to do in the instance we would like to make an offer. From that point onwards we had a good experience, with Vanessa keeping in touch with us and all the solicitors to ensure that things were moving along. In more detail: Right from the beginning when I called Gary Church’s office that we are looking for a house in the area, from the most professional and prepared viewing experience I ever had (and I had many…) - which was done by Raffaele, to the whole support by Dawn throughout the rest of the process, I could not find a moment when I felt they could have done something better. And when these people were off, there was always someone in their office who helpfully responded the same day with similar level of kindness. Our purchase was a challenging one due to external reasons but they were partners to get it done and helped in many ways. While we are not planning to sell this house for a long time, if we decide to do so, we would definitely sell it with Church Robinson. We recently had our boiler break and Warren got a contractor out to us very quickly. The contractor was very professional and went above and beyond to make sure we had some kind of hot water while waiting for a replacement boiler especially as the immersion heater was also broken. Warren was relatively easy to get a hold of and helped us turn on the immersion heater (although as I said it also turned out to be broken.) He made sure to follow up on progress.

Avoid this company, I wish there was an option to give 0 star. I rented a property from them in Didcot, everything went smoothly until I paid all fees. On the move-in day, Marta informed me that there were a ‘few’ problems with the house that they had literally only become aware of that very Saturday morning, before 9am. Marta assured me that all will be taken care of within a week. The shower wasn’t working, the boiler had to be replaced, the bedroom radiators were not working, the taps in the kitchen and the bathroom were leaking, a pipe was leaking from the roof and the toilet flush button kept falling apart. When I asked for compensation for being misinformed about the condition of the property, Anna Lyons had informed me that they cannot compensate for ‘regular maintenance’ work and when I complained that the noise heavily interferes with my work, Anna had said that ‘it was my choice’ to stay home with the contractor. I attached below a few pictures of the ‘regular maintenance’ of the shower.
I have been informed about a property inspection due on 9th November. For several reasons, I asked Anna Lyons to reschedule, my last email was simply ignored. This morning I got a call from Caroline that she would come and inspect the house regardless.
I have always rented from private landlords before and never had any problems. Please avoid these people and rent from a decent private landlord who will not violate your rights

Bought a property through Church Robinson, all going through solicitors, then they showed a “cash buyer” round the purchasing property 2 months into the process subsequently leading to a higher offer and us losing the house and our house buyers. Friendly staff, they keep a tight rope on your pruchase and help you chase the incompetent solicitors.
Extreemely helpful, definitely recommened people to use them when selling/buying properties.

I can't thank enough to extremely kind Church Robinson team especially Dawn, Gary, Courtney and Jo. (I suppose other members are great too, just I didn't have much contact with them:) ) Thanks to their professionalism, very stressful process of selling a house under the COVID situation passed successfully and greatly alleviated. I have purchased a few homes over the years and the experience has always been a bit stressed, but here, even in the midst of the pandemic of 2020 our purchase through Church Robinson has been wonderful and stress-less. It is all about communication which they do so very well, you get the feeling that they are as mindful of your needs as they are of the vendors position, and throughout the whole process we felt looked after. All I can say is a big thank you to them and their after sales team.

Given the current restrictions on viewing properties, I found the virtual tour video Cherry recorded of a property I was interested in to be incredibly helpful, certainly the best virtual tour video I have come across during my property search. It was informative and in depth and gave us a real sense of what the house was like. A real credit to Church Robinson.

Choosing an estate agent is so important, houses don’t sell themselves. I’ve enlisted the team here a few years ago to sell my house when nobody else could, the advice was spot on. I’ve also just bought through them and they are my preferred sales agent in didcot, for sure. Why? Aside from the selling side, which is top notch, their sales support chases everything and keeps an eye on the chain. I literally relaxed and let them tell me what to do, it was totally stress free. How many times can you say that about buying/selling a house. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and I wish I had the sales support team to organise other areas of my life. Well done everyone, you’re amazing. Let’s do it again!

The website is awful and doesnt work properly, and unfortunately when i went to view a rental property the agent completely failed to uphold GDPR and revealed some personal details about my financial situation in front of another potential tenant. I was utterly disgusted and let down and would ward people off using this company!

Absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional behaviour by a women called Amanda. she came back after a late evening viewing the next morning saying there was a higher bid and basically told us they got the house and didn’t seem interested in what we had offer. She was rude , unfriendly and told lies . Stay away from these people.

My husband and I contacted Church Robinson to help us purchase a house in Didcot. The staff has been really friendly and helpful during house viewings, purchase negotiation and sales support. The house purchase was with a chain. The whole process took a bit of time (and stress!). The staff (Jo Manners in particular) has been fantastic working towards the completion. We really appreciate clear communication and regular updates. We felt that we were looked after. We recommend Church Robinson to anyone who wish to purchase a property!

Most of the Staff are very pleasant to deal with, however watch out for hidden Checkout charge, that's not advertised/in agreement and the Company's that do the Check in (BPP) report and Check out (Phoenix)report. My Check in report was very poor bad pictures, hence me asking to change it and complaining, check out report was top class high definition pictures, which cost me a lot on my deposit, due to the difference in reports, which was heavy complained about.
