Second time I have sold a property through JBrown and they are hands down second to none. Their professionalism coupled with their knowledge made a painful probate property sale as smooth as possible. Challenges were faced however they kept both myself and the buyer in the loop throughout which meant that any frustration or concern that usually builds up in the sale of probate property was totally mitigated. I was particularly impressed with their ability to keep all sides on board, especially as we navigated a curveball that had the potential to derail the sale completely. Hats off to the JBrown but a particular shout out to Emma for keeping the show on the road. In contrast, my previous sale was a lot more straightforward and JBrown facilitated a stress-free sale process however it wasn't until this recent sale that I understood, and appreciated, their personable, yet professional, approach.... I would not recommend using J Brown as an estate agency if you are looking for potential tenants. I contacted J Brown to organise a viewing for a property I was very keen on. I was met by an individual who knew nothing about the property and he was not very personable. Regardless of this my partner and I made an offer as it would the only property we felt was suitable for us in the area, we offered above asking on the rent by £100.00 per month. I filed the form to make the offer , they still haven’t got back to me and this was 2 weeks ago. I believe J Brown are a waste of time.... Read more

Very bad experience. Avoid. We rented 12 the ridge way and it had a lot of issues that the landlord didn’t address and the council had to get involved. He then tried to take all the deposit even though it was fine. Agent did very little to help and was seemingly in the pocket of the landlord... Read more

My attempt to inquire about a property quickly turned into a nightmare of incessant, unwanted emails flooding my inbox. Despite numerous requests to cease communication or at least reduce the frequency of emails, the spamming continued without regard for my preferences or peace of mind.
