Charlotte Kelly is an absolute star. Professional, freindly and down to earth. She showed us a number of flats and gave us all the facts and local info we need to be able to make decisions. If your going to John D Wood as for Charlotte a true gem.

We were very disappointed last Friday as we were kept waiting to hear that we had completed on our house and could collect the keys. Eventually we went into the Chiswick branch to check and a phone call was made by one of your staff who ascertained that indeed we HAD completed, but NO-ONE had bothered to call us! If we hadn't gone in, who knows how much longer we would have had to wait! Moving house is stressful enough without this poor service.

Fantastic service - Zara and Rachel were continuously communicative and superseded expectations - they found me a fantastic flat with a brilliant Landlord - I would recommend to anyone looking to rent, purchase or sell a property.

Very positive experience with John D Wood selling our property. We went to market just before Brexit, so endured the uncertainty that followed. Euan and team persevered, remaining positive at all times. Always gave notice when conducting viewings, always responsive to queries and requests, very straightforward to deal with. Gascoigne Pees Epsom branch is, by far, the worst estate agents I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. The purchase of my property went ahead despite their incompetence, however their dealings were so bad that at one point they did make me question the purchase of my property. It took over 6 weeks and multiple calls and emails to get our property off right move. I heard every excuse under the sun, even blaming it on the fact their offices had moved to India, and I was told by multiple staff, that the property would be taken down off right move within 24 hours. In the end, after 6 weeks it got so bad, I threatened to pull out of the purchase and fortunately I got a lovely man named Matthew, who actually worked for a different branch, who took the property down within the hour. It seems that the fault actually laid with their system, despite their excuses. We asked our epsom agent, how much the service charge was and he informed us it was £1600 a year. However, when we received the contract we discovered the service charge was actually £2300, a difference of £58 a month. To be so grossly misinformed is not acceptable. Even getting a viewing for the property my partner had to send two emails and chase up. You would think they didn't want a sale! When we tried to book a second viewing they booked another viewing so close to ours, we had limited time to walk around, and my family members who were running slightly late didn't even get the opportunity to see it. The only thing they did do was allow us to get some measurements taken for shutters whilst our surveyor was there. However, I had to argue tooth and nail for this also. It is my understanding an estate agents is meant to help with the selling and purchase of a property, in my opinion Gascoigne Pees Epsom did nothing but hinder our purchase. When we come to resell it will certainly not be with them.

Terrible service... asked them to value my property, The first booking I had I got a voicemail 1 hour before they were due to arrive saying 'Jamie has been called into a meeting' funnily enough on one of the first really sunny days in the summer... when I called back Jamie answered and quickly passed me onto someone else.... Now waiting for them to turn up to the rescheduled appointment, currently 15 mins late with no call to let me know if they are even still coming. Safe to say I will NOT be entrusting them with the sale of my property! unreliable and unprofessional.
