We recently had the pleasure of working with Jessie at John D. Wood to find our first flat in London, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the first (of a few different) showings throughout signing for our flat, every single person we worked with at John D. Wood was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive throughout the entire process; especially considering we were new to the unique intricacies of renting in the United Kingdom.
Jessie went so far above and beyond to understand our specific needs, preferences, and timeline, and was incredibly responsive to answer any question we had. By far the best experience we have had with an estate agent to rent out our flat in years. Louna was absolutely incredible - professional, organised, responsive and a total delight to deal with.
We chose her after she and another agent valued a flat for us. The other agent was very pushy and money-grabbing whereas Louna gave a very fair and realistic price for the flat and was totally honest with us. She was very sensitive with our existing tenant regarding show-rounds as the tenant had health issues.
She sensed when something wasn't right with one potential tenant and wisely acted on this.
She helped with finding cleaners, inventory clerks etc and organised everything beautifully so that the new tenancy was as smooth as it could possibly be. We have a lovely new tenant now thanks to Louna. I couldn't recommend her and Julia more highly.

Avoid using this agency and save yourself the hassle. I have used them in 2 instances, and unfortunately the disappointing experience was not a one off, it was the rule. They have withheld important information from the contract that would have protected me as a tenant during Covid, they have breached the agreement clause of returning or communicating any disputes related to my deposit within 10 days. It's been a month and I am still chasing them.
Not worth your time. Work with smaller boutique agencies that care about their customers whether it's the landlord or tenant.

I have wait over 2 months to receive our deposit back even though we filled out all the necessary docs straight away and there are no issues, it's just taken them 10 days to reply to emails with confirmations....

I have only presented them with one star as otherwise I was unable to post this. Incredibly unhelpful and indolent. Throughout our tenancy we experienced problem after problem due to a total lack of care and attention to detail (moving in with no hot water as no one at John D Wood checked our boiler function). Upon departing, we were advised by one of their supposedly senior staff, to leave our sofas behind. Our landlady rightfully insisted on a deduction from our deposit to have these removed, as he failed to communicate this information out of pure laziness. After several rude and belligerent conversations, he conveyed his lack of understanding of manners, or any form of liability, legally and morally, and refused to accept responsibility for his ill-advised emails. John D Wood fulfilled all characteristics of the archetypal estate agent, interested only in reaping and extoring the maximum amount of financial gain out of tenants and landlords and a dismissal of the protection of rights of both parties, in his pinstripe suit.

Will gave me full description of the property before I came for viewing and could understand all my needs, also showed confidence in what he was offering to me.
In the middle of the whole process I had serious difficulties that would have made many estate agents give up . However Chantelle very kindly arranged a chat with the lovely landlord and thanks this approach and trust I am now living in a nice ,cozy and safe place .

On Saturday afternoon we asked for further details on a flat. The young man on duty handed us a card, which gave fewer details than the Internet posting. We then asked him for an appointment to see the property. We asked for Monday, when the agency would reopen, suggesting 11.30am, and asking for a confirmation call from the FS branch, to let us whom we should be meeting and where.
By 11am, we had received no confirmatory phone call, so we phoned them. The man who answered the phone said he had still to go through all the notes left to him over the weekend. He said there was no way he could come at the appointed time and asked if we wanted another appointment.
There was no apology.
Presumably, had we turned up at the appointed time, we'd still be waiting outside the front door.
Our answer is this: the property is listed through Zoopla by other estate agents. Why should we continue to pursue it through Faron Sutaria?
We would not recommend them for buying or selling.
