I was given an excellent valuation for my property between the commons which exceed my expectations. Austin demonstrated an in depth knowledge of the market in the area and he was proved correct. The fees structure was such that there was real incentive to get the best price for me, which again proved correct. I would highly recommend John Thorogood. I was disappointed that my search for new property was out of their catchment area but they have continued to provide support and contacts to assist me.

I would highly recommend using John Thorogood as an estate agent. I dealt with Austin Thorogood throughout the whole process of selling my house on Clapham Common. From the the start he was honest and gave me a realistic valuation of my property. Unlike many of the other agents who over value, just to get you on their books. They then tell you 2 weeks later, that you need to lower the price. And that’s why no one has come to view it! He wasn’t pushy ,but was considerate and reliable during what was a very stressful time.
I felt that Austin went the extra mile. He knows the Battersea area very well, and he was very knowledgeable about who would be interested in my house. The larger agents seen to treat all areas and properties the same way, with out much local knowledge.
