Abs completely went out of his way to help us find the right place - even accommodating Skype viewings and being our eyes when we couldn't be in the country to see places. He knew just what we were looking for and we really appreciated all of his help - we are so glad he found us this flat. Thank you Abs!
Paul, the manager, and other team members failed to manage our expectations at every level. It began when we challenged the suggested asking price which we thought it was far too high. They insisted it was right, if not a bit low. We explained that the last thing we wanted was to put it on for too much, get excited, then have to come down in price and be disappointed. They said the market in Balham was awesome and talked of sealed bids and we should probably push for even more. We pressed the point but they insisted they had buyers waiting in the wings. After hardly any viewings and a failure of all these buyers to materialise they suggested we drop the price by £30k exactly the scenario we had said we wanted to avoid at outset, then tried to blame us! They managed to hit pretty much every negative cliche you can attribute to Estate agents. We changed to Purple Bricks, saved 5k in fees and sold to the FIRST person who viewed. My suggestion is you avoid KFH.
Kinley Folkard Hayward have pulled out all the stops and managed to find us new tenants in 10 days! We were looking at a very empty flat at the beginning of this year but with their help and enthusiasm we have now rented the place out again very quickly. It's been two months since we've moved out and we still didn't get the deposit back!!! Blood-sucking leaches!! Think 3 times before renting from them
Working with Gabrielle and Martin was fantastic. They exceeded my expectations, were honest *shock* and worked so very hard to help us sell and buy our new home. They made a rather difficult process much more bearable!
Incredibly incompetent and immoral
They lied to us about what was included in the house.
They lied to use about terms in the contract
It took them over a month to give us our parking space that we were paying for
They're are incredibly rude and hung up on me a few times when trying to resolve issues
It took them an unreasonable amount of time to return our deposit
They are entirely unhelpful
They refuse to give references unless you paid them £42
At the end of the tenancy they book loads of appointments to show prospective new tenants around but often cancel and do not tell you
They are not very nice people to deal with
I was extremely satisfied with the customer service - very polite staff that were very helpful and responsive to my requirements when property hunting. Well done!
Absolute worst estate agent experience.
A complete break down in communication and the agents didn't look out for my interests.
I was excited to rent a refurb from them off Wandsworth road, only for my ceiling to fall through - after 2 weeks of moving in. If I had been in the bed at this time I could have died:
I completely understand this isn't the estate agents fault, but it was their job and duty to find me alternative accommodation, which they failed to do. They didn't even offer me storage for my belongings. Or offer to help move my things. When I called the agent, Mehmet, said that it wasn't 'his problem'.
I'd lack to add that I wasn't even offered an apology for the state of my bedroom until I called up and demanded one.
Discussing service, horrible company, stay away.
Michael Odish was the agent I dealt with throughout the whole purchasing process. Michael was brilliant, nothing was too much of an ask and he was very accommodating showing me similar properties to benchmark my decision against and a really good mix of being keen but not pushy. Throughout the conveyancing process Michael really helped push things along from both sides and I don't think I will be completing when I am without his involvement. Thanks Michael I really appreciate how much you have helped.
Recently started renting a property through Jacksons estate agents. The process has been made difficult and stressful due to unclear instructions by staff. Will not be using Jacksons again.
I can't speak highly enough of the work that Drew Zendra and the team did when selling my flat in Brixton. After having it on the market with another agent for over 6 months they had it to best bids within 3 weeks of listing and got me the asking price! Great job!
They accepted my offer, I paid the PTAC and now they asking me to increase my offer. They said that my company failed the company pre-check: an Experian credit check, which is pointless, as my company has got enough funds. They even didn't contact my accountant. it looks like a bogus excuse just because they have got another offer.
