I previously rated this establishment five stars, because the agent I had who helped me sign my lease was extremely helpful.
However, when you are a tenant they do not care about you at all. They were completely unhelpful when portions of the building were falling apart, and they gave me no contact information for the building manager. It was only because of a neighbor that I received the information we needed to literally enter the building.
And when my heat went out in the middle of December, the only helpful solution I was provided was a link to a space heater, and the email was sent past 9pm when I tried to reach out at 2pm. The heating problem could have also been prevented if the agency listened to the recommendation of the man who came to inspect my gas and electric FOUR MONTHS prior to the incident.\
When I informed them that I would not be renewing my lease, they brought in several individuals to the apartment either without informing me OR informing me five minutes prior to their arrival, which is against the law. When I would refuse they would be extremely rude, and one lettings agent, Jamal, said that I was "much more pleasant when we first met" which was just unprofessional and uncalled for.
Long story short, they will help you find a good place to leave, but after they have taken your money they won't care if you live or die.

For this first-time AND overseas buyer, Sunny Barhey and Jonathan Clews provided outstanding service, clear guidance, and strong proactivity towards my purchase from the very first viewing till completion.
My budget was tiny but I was treated with respect and professionalism every step of the way. There was excellent teanwork between Jon and Sunny as they navigated all parties across each hurdle with speed and precision.
For a highly-anxious personality such as myself, both Sunny and Jon were calming and accommodative but also firm in managing my requirements and expectations. I appreciated the transparent communication and accessibility, especially as I was overseas for most of the time.
Highly recommended.

Do NOT rent using this agency! I had an extremely negative and unprofessional experience, where KFH was acting as an agent for a landlord. They accepted an offer, took a deposit, and then gave the flat to someone else before referencing -- WITHOUT returning the deposit. It's been over two weeks, and I don't have my deposit returned and they refuse to provide any documentation showing any type of refund. This was a waste of my time, money, and my agent's time. Exceptionally unprofessional. Beware.

Worked basically day and night with Jamaal Tingling for our tenancy. He was extremely responsive and helpful through the entire process. His support through the negotiations was extremely commendable. Even during difficult points in the process, he was great at troubleshooting and communicating the issues transparently. Would absolutely recommend!

Another excellent service from KFH Clerkenwell, I now have 2 flats let through them. Top-notch tenant going back to US afer a tenancy of just under 3 years, and another American moving in the next day. Their contacts through their corporate relocation service are excellent. Very sensible weekly update conversations during the advertising/viewing process.
Update: Jonathan has been a tower of strength in my difficult sale - firstly in advising me to wait whilst all the cladding was sorted and then through a protracted sale. So I recommend them for selling as well as letting - I originally posted 4 years ago and they still let my other flat, again to a top-notch tenant.
