I called the Kirkham office in Chadderton on 26th September 2024 to enquire about a commercial unit they had listed for rent. I was told my details would be passed on to the landlady, Victoria, and that I’d receive a callback. After not hearing anything, I followed up the next morning (27th September) and spoke to an agent. He informed me that he thinks all the units are gone and hadn’t received any updates for months. This raised an immediate question—why are you still marketing these units as available if they’re not? His response was vague: “I’m not too sure, but I think the units are gone.” The uncertainty and lack of knowledge were frustrating. As an estate agent, it’s your responsibility to be fully informed about your listings, yet there seemed to be a lot of guesswork involved. This has been a poor experience, and I won’t be using their services again for any future business.... Read more

I would highly recommend Kirkhams Estate Agents. Dave Newsam dealt with us from the valuation of the house to handing the keys over to the new owners. We never had to chase anything up. Dave would always keep us updated. If Dave did not hear from us, then he would email us and ask how we were doing. Dave went above and beyond. We would definitely keep in touch with Dave.... After two years of property hell we chose Kirkham Property to sell our house. At first we used another agent whose terms seemed slightly better initially. Quick offer, accepted, then the buyer pulled out at Christmas. We then did some renovations and in summer invited Jay to return and revalue. He is such a great first contact with the company. Friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help us sell the house. It was on the agents website very quickly. The agent handled the viewings, and in June we received an offer. Today is 6th September and we completed yesterday. The agents have been so professional throughout. Minimum communication but available to help whenever I needed them. I’ve not had to go to the office so can’t comment. I’m not the easiest of people to deal with and give 5 stars to Sue Needham and her team.... Read more

The whole experience of selling a house with Kirkham Property ( Chadderton) was simple, efficient and effective. The staff are friendly, helpful and do exactly what they say they will in a timely fashion. Communication by text, email and in person has been clear, informative and prompt. The people giving the valuation and showing round potential buyers were excellent. They listened attentively to what I said and presented the property accurately, positively and realistically. They have friendly, smiley dispositions and lots of personality. Costs were comparable to other companies but the service made it well worth it.
