Avoid this place at all cost. I placed and offer giving the asking price for a property, I called 3 times to ask for an update only to get a response "we will let you know once the seller decides". Today I got an email that my offer was rejected and no option to increase it. When I called to discuss, willing to increase my offer significantly, I was told that I should have increased my offer even if it hadn't been rejected. 41 years of life never heard that before, that's completely against the laws of "offer and acceptance".
Also the advice I was given was to always offer my top offer straight away, ok that's another new for me. Next time I will offer 50% above asking price to entertain myself and waste peoples time.

Recently purchased a property with them and the process was very smooth, Ryder and Dutton are great and I recommend them to anyone. Unlike other estate agents they give you their time of day and based on my experience are the best, having spoken to every estate agent in the last 3 years in the hunt for my first home. Awful experience. I waited 3 weeks for a house viewing. Called the office if i could do the viewing earlier but i was told that was the opening day so they cannot do viewings any earlier. Today i got a call saying that the house has already been sold whereas i was waiting 3 weeks for a viewing!

I sold my property with R&D recently. The process itself was a very long one (7 months) as my buyer was in a chain and had some issues from her end.
The viewings and advertising were all good, I ended up getting a good price for my property, my only negative feedback is about communication itself. It hasn't always been great throughout the process with me having to chase for updates and some calls not being returned. This is what R&D should seek to improve.
7 months is a very long time and sellers are nervous throughout the process as the sale can fall through at any time, so it would be good for R&D to keep communications flowing for peace of mind.

From the first contact with Ryder & Dutton the service was excellent. An appointment was made and the agent turned up on time and was clearly knowledge about properties in the area . He suggested a selling price and full explained his reasons and how he felt to sale would go . He was correct . The agent called during Covid restrictions and he adhered to all government guidelines .
All publicity was posted and a sign out up at the property exactly at the time I was given by Elki. I was constantly informed of what steps were being taken, including viewings and the sales procedure etc
Elki provided a professional and friendly service and she is a tribune, valuable asset to the company and has outstanding communication skills. I commend this company without any reservations , each member of the team I have had communication with have been outstanding

I cannot recommend Ryder & Dutton Chadderton branch more after selling my house with them. It's the first time I've ever been through the process and it was even more daunting selling during the pandemic and I found Ryder & Dutton fantastic. They are very organised and professional. Their opening hours are great as they have an out of hours team who work outside of the normal office hours. I had a virtual viewing and they generated a lot of interest in my property and the photographer also took beautiful photos for the website and Rightmove. Andrea Mulrooney looked after my sale. She is extremely warm, friendly, patient (as I had a lot of questions) and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. She also gave regular updates and I never felt I had to chase for information it was already there waiting for me. She would always email me updates aswell so that I could return to information whenever I needed it. Andrea would speak to my buyer regularly and also their solicitor to ensure the process ran smoothly and I could not be more happy with how she managed my sale. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

I came to Gabby quite late needing to remortgage. She was so quick to help and got me the best deal and advice on how best to look at the situation regarding my remortgage.
