We have just bought a house through Marchand Petit. They answered all of our questions and concerns honestly. They showed us properties at very short notice when ever possible. I spent 12-18 months looking for a property and the Team at Kingsbridge were fab and finally found me my perfect home …when you are far away and relocating you need all the help you can get - it was great they had a flexible attitude and responses in timely fashion by emails or video calls for viewings etc - even after I had moved in they got back to my queries - I was very pleased …

We used Marchand Petit for the recent sale of our house. Tom Fallaize gave us valuable local information at the outset which was very helpful. We were also impressed by MP’s efficiency in giving us ample advance notice of viewings and objective feedback after each viewing. Having Nicky Churchill, Sales Negotiator, on the team was was particularly useful as a point of contact, source of guidance during a difficult selling period and effective liaison with both sets of solicitors.

I spent over a year trying to deal with house sale. Fell through at the last moment twice. Eventually I changed to Marchand Petit and they concluded the sale in a very short period. Very professional, sufficient staff to be able to manage the process properly, and the degree of due diligence that you should be able to expect from professionals in this field.

I purchased a house locally via MP and was disappointed with the service offered.
Essentially this was because of the following :
- viewings were only offered when we had sold
- viewings themselves were little more than opening the door, generally no walk around/advice on the property was offered
- we were advised a Devon covenant on one property could be easily removed which when querying with our solicitor were told it most certainly could not
- once we had our offer accepted, the communication from MP was almost none existent as they assumed we were going directly to the house seller
- I requested a regular update from MP regards the sales progress, sadly this was not forthcoming
- when we did actually exchange contracts, MP rang us to advise of such the week after
Sorry MP, you didn't inspire me.

My wife rang to book a veiwing of a new rental released that day online within minutes of it being posted online and told someone would call her back as soon as they were off their call to then get an email the next day saying the property was fully booked for viewings. I also rang the branch in the afternoon to chase up the viewing and left a message but no reply. Very unprofessional service.

Would definitely recommend MarchandPetit as the go to Estate Agent in Kingsbridge. They communicated perfectly and got the sale moving when it looked like things were going cold. Marchand Petit, and especially Clare Study, exceeded all expectations in our search for a property. They were proactive and, unlike the majority of other agents who just suggested we "keep an eye on the website" for new properties, they regularly not only sent new properties by email but also called if they felt there was something that we would really like. I would highly recommend them.
