Maurice Kilbride provided an amazing service. From the first call they were very welcoming. I don’t think there was ever a time we rang them and they didn’t answer. Extremely helpful throughout. It seemed almost an impossible task to get our move completed before Christmas with not much time to spare but they worked tirelessly and managed to get it done which we are so grateful for. They really do go above and beyond and we can’t recommend them enough.

Maurice Kilbride was actually my sellers estate agent, but I was so happy with the service we received on our end. Communication was always prompt and consistent, always kept me well informed on progress and made sure he knew where everything was up to. Also when the process became quite stressful- for reasons not related to him- he was so so kind to me, reassuring and kept me sane! Also special thanks to Joe who started off the process for us. I used Maurice Kilbride for the second time selling a house. It was a smooth process from start to finish as expected from previously using them. From Maurice carrying out the valuation, to Joe arranging the viewings etc it was all stress free and I was kept in the loop with everything. A Friendly, professional, and efficient service... would definitely recommend to others & would use again in the future!

I spoke with a number of estate agents in Stockport and Cheadle as this was my first time selling a property and didn't really know what I was doing but hands-down down, Maurice Kilbride was the most professional, honest and personable I found. 5 stars all round, from valuation to completion I couldn't have asked for a better service from both Maurice and Joe. I was recommended to use Maurice Kilbride and I would definitely use again in the future and recommend to others too!
For anyone debating between one or two others - whether the others offer a cheaper price or not... if you want good communication throughout and a speedy sale with no issues, this is the estate agent you need to pick.

Loads of Estate Agents within the area but only one stands out and that is Maurice Kilbride
I was strongly recommended by a neighbour and found my experience to be second to none, nothing was to much trouble the house was STC within a week.
I can only state how courteous, Professional, and efficient this family estate agents are, nothing was to much trouble sorted EPC and recommended a house clearance company
I had a quote from another agent GH who had a property round the corner for sale this was still on the market when I completed.

Try to rush the sale and pressure you with no warning
Sold my house through these people and without any prior warning said they want they keys TODAY or the sale is going to be cancelled my fridge was still in the property and I told them can I give they keys tommorow so I can get a van hired and get my fridge back they declined and they assured me that they would arrange a time with the new buyers when I can get my fridge they never did arrange and then when I rang switched the story and twisted it saying I said the New tenants could keep the fridge so I lost my item and they didn't care at all

We began our tenancy in 2019 and spent 3 wonderful years in one of their properties.
We had one or two issues in those 3 years and the team at Maurice Kilbride would always go above and beyond to help us. One issue in particular was when the boiler packed in 3 days before Christmas! Patrick managed to get this sorted within a couple of hours. Most estate agents I have come across would have left us to freeze ????

Having initially considered that the "on-line estate agent" might be the way to go in the 21st centuary, I was tipped off by a close friend about Maurice Kilbride estate agents in Cheadle. As such I did a little due dilligence, which of course involved an invite to Maurice himself to come around to my property and carry out an appraisal.
Now having been in the estate agency business for a couple of years myself "many moons ago", I do feel somewhat qualified to speak on the subject, (albeit without much knowledge of the latest trends and practices). As such I can say without reservation that Maurice Kilbride Estates is undoubtably the most professional, reliable and straightforward that I have ever come across (or worked for). Their attentiveness to detail and accuracy is truly second to none and all carried out with an incredible level of genuine friendliness that nowadays is very hard to find. My sincere thanks to both Maurice & Joe for what was a superbly smooth and pleasant experience.

Maurice Kilbride Agency, a family company, specialises in properties in the immediate vicinity so they have a thorough understanding of the area which is critical. They were enthusiastic, responsive and I did appreciate Maurice' guidance to help manage my expectations. I suspect we were quite overbearing as clients as we had poor experiences previously trying to sell the property, but once with MK agency, we soon realised that everything would be o.k. We used Maurice Kilbride to help sell our property last year - they were sympathetic to our circumstances, fast in all aspects of the sale, from coming out to see us, taking pictures of the property, getting our property online and getting us viewings! The pictures they got of our property were stunning and really showed it’s full potential and size. We had updates on how things were progressing and as much support as we needed.

(November 2017) Excellent, professional and knowledgeable service. Maurice organised all of our viewings and achieved an over the asking price sum for our house. I'd thought about going down the online route for selling our house - but this experience has taught me that the professional estate agent fees are not only reasonable - but worth every penny.
(December 2020) I posted the review above in 2017 - when Maurice sold our house in a matter of days. The service was absolutely excellent. So much so that in 2020, when selling my late Mum's house, I went straight back to Maurice. Once again - Maurice (Joe and Patrick) did a brilliant job. The house sold in 3 days with Joe managing the offers, to achieve an over asking price result. We did not have to deal with any viewngs - Kilbride's took care of all of that. This was important to me during COVID - but also helpful for what was an emotional sale of a much loved family home. Fantastic agent. Professional, courteous, with exceptional levels of preparation and market knowledge. For me an excellent agent is an investment that has paid real returns (twice). Thank you guys (again!)

Hi everyone thinking of moving house in the near future. Maurice Kilbride were there for us every step of the way. We got the keys to our new house last monday and we were so impressed with the friendly and efficient service we received all through the months leading up to our move. All the staff in the Cheadle village office were great, nothing was ever too much . When we picked up our keys on the big day, they gave us a really lovely moving in hamper of goodies too ! We would recommend them unreservedly.

I purchased my property through Maurice Kilbride, completing in August 2019. Joe, who handled my purchase, was very patient with my many, many, many(!) calls and was always happy to chase things with the seller promptly and provided an informative service.
When viewing the property, I found Maurice to be one of the most professional estate agents I had dealt with. It was clear that he has a passion for property and a wealth of experience - which was reassuring as this was going to be our first home purchase.

A brilliant experience from start to finish. Selling my late in laws property was a delicate situation and also not living close by either didn't help,but with the knowledge,professionalism and "stickability" from Joe we got there in the end.It wasn't a straight forward sale by any means. I would like to thank all at the Estate agents for going that extra mile and making it a first class experience.We would definitely recommend.The larger estate agents are less personable and far less sympathetic to your needs.

I would like to say a great big thank you to Maurice for selling my late Mums house in Cheadle. My mum died in October so selling her house was an emotional and difficult time but Maurice, Patrick and Joe did it all for me. Not living in the area meant I was unable to do the viewings but it was all taken care for and Maurice kept me up to date at all times and even had to put up with me getting stressed reassuring me at all times. So it’s a great big thank you from myself and my sons and I’d recommend MK 100% to anyone that is thinking of selling

Recently sold my house through Maurice Kilbride, and I have got to say it was absolutely fantastic experience from day one all the way through to the completion. Selling/Buying the house is one of most stresfull experiences in life, and having a competent as well as caring Estate Agent that You can trust makes massive difference.
Maurice was very professional, honest and to the point, with detailed and acurate knowledge about the local market. I sold my house to the first viewers.
Emily was great too, very polite and efficient, she kept in contact with me regularly and ensured everything ran smoothly.

Not recommended, Now let me write a review and see if it was fair, first of all cutting the grass doesn't cost £269 and as I already said the light switches were already in that state, the boiler was leaking again, the sink was leaking from the bottom, kitchen flooring was already ripped, windows were locked and we barely used the garage and I am still waiting for my deposit to be paid thats not good is it, the deposit should've been paid when I left the property which was 3 days earlier I left the property, iv been replying to all the email as they told me to and now its their turn to pay back the deposit they go quiet all of a sudden be fair at least il change my review when everything gets sorted

As we hadn't gone through the process of buying a house before we really appreciated the time she took to keep us in the loop. We have been really impressed and pleased with the service offered by the team at Maurice Kilbride’s. After viewing our ideal new home, we asked them to do what they could to speed the sale along of our current property. They increased the marketing, and gained us more viewings. Despite not being in their typical catchment area, our property sold quicker than those marketed by more local agencies without affecting the price.
Throughout they have been friendly and helpful - despite our lack of understanding and copious amounts of questions! Would 100% recommend and use again.

Maurice and the team are a pleasure to deal with, we’re glad we listed and sold our house with these guys. Professional right to the end and always on our side, Maurice will bend over backwards to help you out. Communication was always excellent and he kept us up to date as well as our buyers. Amy and Joe were simply brilliant from start to finish, I had very short timeframes and she exceeded these for me.
I must have called Joe 20 times a day for a week and nothing was too much for him.

We had our property up for sale with another agent and we were not getting anywhere so I contacted Maurice Kilbride and another local agent. They both visited my property for a valuation and although 1 agent was very pushy Maurice Kilbride himself wasn't. He was very informative and told me that he would definitely get us a buyer. Also what I liked about Maurice was that he was a family run business and it was in his own interest to get a buyer for me as quickly as possible. The house went up for sale and within a week we started to get viewers. After only a few weeks we had a sale and although it's taken a little time through solicitors Maurice has always been on the ball at keeping in us up to date with the sale, and above all, as I'm a 'stressed' he's always reassured me that there would be no problems. Thank you for all your work Maurice! We would definitely highly recommend you as probably the best Estate Agent we have ever dealt with, and that is quite a few in our lifetimes.
