Syed and Tarik have made my move into the new place super smooth and easy. They are always around to answer my questions and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They were friendly, professional, and really on top of everything. It made the whole process way less stressful than I expected. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for better estate agents, they were amazing. Would definitely recommend them!

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Over the past 8 months, I have reported multiple serious issues in my property, including:
- A moving toilet with water leaking from the base.
- A non-functional fire alarm, which is a major safety concern.
- A boiler making loud noises and a heating system that doesn’t work properly.
Despite numerous complaints, it took 8 months for someone to finally address the toilet issue. However, the repair was done unprofessionally—the worker only replaced the toilet seat but failed to fix the underlying problem. Now, water is leaking under the toilet, creating an unhygienic and hazardous situation.
When I contacted the agency to report the ongoing issues, the worker refused to return, stating he wouldn’t come back because I had complained about his substandard work. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, the fire alarm, boiler, and heating system issues remain unresolved. I have called the agency several times to follow up, but my calls are clearly being ignored. This lack of responsiveness and accountability is appalling.
I would not recommend this agency to anyone. Their failure to address critical repairs, unprofessional conduct, and disregard for tenant concerns make them completely unreliable.

I moved this agent 1st of November 2023. This is for everyone who wants to come with this agency and if they don’t give any access to the landlord then be careful, they will make a trap for you.
I live in
(E13 Barking road house, Plaistow, two bedroom house).
When we rented the house £1700 rent offered and we agreed. There are many things not working properly since we moved, reports them many times, every time agents come and take measurements then no response. Still we are not bothering them. Living our life and paying rent on time.
Suddenly, when it’s almost 1 year finishing they sending email that they will increase rent £1103.45 to £1950 when I asked what is £1103 . Then they said it was mistake and they want to increase rent from £1700 to £1950.
Once one inspection happened from bank, one officer came to valuation the property and asked about rent to us. We told him £1700 as a random question answered and one of agent member shouted with us because of telling the amount of rent, which made us shocked, but we didn’t say nothing but made us doubt with the agent, it’s our personal thing why they are making concern about this, it’s happened after 2 months of our moving.
From all the concerns and doubts we wanted to contact with landlord and discuss about things and increased rent, but denied to give us access.
Now we did let them know we can’t afford £1950 and they sending a notice to vacant the house with my baby. They sending possession notice of 2 months time although we are paying our rent on time. They care only money, no humanity exist.How fair is this and how should I find a new house so easily. What a trap. I wish they get a punishment for all the injustices and trap and lies.

I been there for a month in market square
They are extremely rude and very unprofessional. There was no hot water in shower and water tape pressure was too slow i survive whole month while shower I start complained them from the first day but they don’t care about anything and dirty bathroom and communal area I send them videos as well they don’t reply as well overall when I spoke with them regarding water and other issues they being rude and careless
Guys be careful with them before sign in agreement once you do you will see their actual face
They care only money without provide essential services

Rude and unprofessional. I enquired about viewing a house that has been on the market for months and I've just been ignored. If you don't want to show me the house why not respond and say so, and give a reason? Courtesy costs nothing, and many companies find it's rather good for business. I'll take my interest elsewhere.

They make me not want to rent with agencies anymore. They are the worst!
Me and my flatmates spent 1,5 months without a cooker, almost a month without WiFi, the boiler constantly broke.we always send them many emails so they would take care of the problems. They barely even replied. They still made us pay the full rent.
In general, they barely replied to emails unless they want money from you.
Would give them 0 stars if possible.

Metropolitan and Crowne are everything you want in an estate agent and more. They made finding my new home a painless process, I was amazed by how quickly they processed my application- making sure they kept me updated every step of the way. Tanveer Miah was especially amazing, he gave me a warm welcome and even helped me moved in ! Helping me carry all of my things to the fourth floor. Now I’m settled into my new property they have continued to impress, quickly resolving any maintenance issues. I could not recommend this estate agent more, you can tell they truly care about their clients.

I know quite a few tenants that have previously and some that still are renting from this agency.
I have never heard of an agency that is as poorly managed as metropolitan and Crown. All they care about Is money. It is literally the only time you will feel there presence when living in any of their properties.
Tenants have their belonging stolen, so many properties have damp problems, which you will not know at first because they just paint over it. People don't get deposits back... and so many other issues.
The only thing this company can guarantee, is they are really nice to u at the begining and once you are in the property, WHEN you have an issue, which I would say probably be in the first month. U will receive absolutely no help.
For anybody still renting with them, please find legal help as soon as possible.

This agency doesn't consider people as human beings. All they care about is money and business. Tenants can live in a trap hole and they will care less. Their work are very substandard. They house can fall apart yet it is not their concern. I stayed with them in two properties it was the same thing. If you have any opportunity please don't get a house under them.

What a treat!!!! I have dealt with many estate agencies before but Metropolitan and Crown has definitely went the extra mile!!! They made house hunting a smooth sail not to mention how accommodating Jonas what whilst showing me the properties. When I moved into my room a brand new Flatmate has joined who has had one too many on his day 2, that i had to have been taken away by the police. (How unfortunate right at the start, some people just can't be screened enough...For the record he apologised and left the property.) Metropolitan and Crown has made all the arrangements to prioritise my safety and meet my needs throughout this time and have made me feel well looked after unlike many other agencies would regardless of the time and day of the week. Thank you Metropolitan and Crown for bending over backwards to help a sister out! :) if you want good service metropolitan and Crown is definitely the agency you want to contact!!!!!!

I have a problem with them managing one of their tenants, they have let one property that became a nuisance to a whole street/square.
I emailed the agent about 4 times and received only one dull reply. Their tenant is constantly leaving rubbish outside the bins, card boxes, nappies, foxed are coming to rave the bins because of the poor disposal. Also they are had parties during Covid lockdown.
I have reported all the above to the Newham Council and the local Councillor which have been helpful to organise cleaning the street couple of times.
I do not recommend the agency due to poor communication and not being involved at all.

If there was ZERO stars I will give NOTHING!! The worse agency every, terrible. I have called 100 of times and sent emails about serious issues in the house I live in and no one came back to me. They manage that property and they are doing a shetty job. My daughter is very ill and she get's infection very frequently and easily becuase of the dirty black mould i the toilet. I went to the doctor's with her and they this is the cause of it.

The most dodgy agency I have dealt since I arrived to London 6 years ago.
They have some crazy contracts allowing whoever they want in the house whenever they want without previous advice and, to take anything from the common areas as well.
A sofa disappeared from one day to another with no explication. As well it is quite common to find people without previous advice from the agency in the house.
It is a constant harassment and invasion of privacy plus some of my food and belongings disappeared being the only tenant in the house.
I seriously regret to have dealt with them.
In regards the reply from them to that review: no sofa was replaced and no notice given when they took the old one. Harassement is to have every day/two days someone different from the agency around with no previous notice.
However I m not going to waste my time to go through all the lies they stated in them reply.
Just do not trust them please, I have been in London for more than 6 years and by far they have been the worst agency I have ever dealed with.

Appalling. Was approached by one of their staff via Wotsapp. I told them my move in dates and budget and they asked me to come in on a Thursday from 6.00. The rep wasn't there and they didn't have anything for my requirements in any case. The rep didn't even get back to me to apologise. Extremely rude. Avoid.

Been to so many estate agents localy they all are cowboys or charge such high fees, I have been with Metropolitan and Crown now over a year and can definitely recommend them highly very professional really happy with there work, thanks guys! ????

Bunch of crooks don't even reply to calls or emails. Had given notice to get property back. It's nearly two year now since and still waiting and no communication. Having to resort to getting solicitors involved. Beware with these lot especially if your thinking of letting your property through them.

Their requirments for letting people in are very strict. Have to provide payslops for last 3 months or guarantor with bunch of requirments that are way stricter than you'd expect. Agents are proffesional and pleasant though.
I lived in a room for 9 months. It was ok. Maintainance don't solve problems quickly but they do something eventually.
