It was a Saturday and we were tired, my wife and I.
An estate agent we had rented with before had messed us up with sloppy and discriminatory service. Worse still, our notice period was running out.
A friend we had spoken to called and asked that we go to the High Street in Norwood and look around.
I was reluctant to, but reason prevailed and that was how we found Northwoods Estate Agents.
Sandra was the first person we met and she took her time to explain the process, especially the requirements for someone that is newly self-employed and without the requisite tax papers needed for referencing. Something our other agent had not bothered to do.
Then she introduced us to David who was happy to show us two vacant properties.
We didn't like the first but as we drove into the second one we knew we were going to like it.
3 hours later, we had made an offer and were on our way to referencing.
It's early days yet but I can say that the people at Northwoods Estate Agents don't just treat you as a customer,
they see a human being and they take the time to listen and explain, which is important.
Along the line, we met more members of the team (Mark and Dawn) but it was Sandra and David who calmed our anxieties and helped us navigate the referencing process.
Thanks guys and lets hope the relationship stays sweet!

The house wasn’t to bad however the estate agent MARK JARRET was extremely rude insisting that I should move my car from infront of the property so he could park instead this may seem minor but his approach was very aggressive and in professional towards a female. Personally I don’t think this estate agents should be used due to from what it seems lack of staff training which I have never experienced before. Yh is was very nerve wrecking for me.

DAVID from this branch called to let me know I property i had a viewing for was gone. Nowhere did he tell me this property was already under offer which was frustrating, and he thought he could be a smart mouth and say I'm the one that rescheduled and tried to gaslight me. Quite disappointed in this kind of customer service, but its clear that this branch have no regard for others and deal with customers unprofessionally. Wouldn't recommend AT alll. smh.

I spoke with Agent on two occasions. Very disappointed
First one said the property I am talking about do not exist is at different place and address but information says clearly Portland road . Second lady i spoke to said she will send me email set up viewing at that property on Portland road . They never get back to me whatever. They very unpleasant over the phone. Someone need to look in to it .

I've chosen South Norwood as an area to invest in property due to excellent transport links, and have used several estate agents sometimes to my disgust but can honestly say that David and his team at Northwoods, which I use for buying, selling and lettings, are the only estate agent I've found to be entirely honest and by far the most decent professionals anywhere.
David who genuinely is a decent respectable gentleman goes above and beyond, nothing is ever too much trouble, very knowledgeable and very reasonable with his fees and such good personality. Will never go anywhere else to find new tenants or for selling. I am so fortunate and grateful to have found Northwoods and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Having sold our property with Northwood's, we found them to be extremely helpful, friendly and very professional.
We had lived in our property for over 26 years, so the prospect of moving was quite daunting but all the staff at Northwood's made the process as stress free as possible, always happy to offer guidance and advice when needed. Providing an accurate valuation, professional photos and floor plans and finding our buyer within a week of our property being marketed, we would most definitely recommend them.
