We’ve had a brilliant experience with Oaks in Addiscombe. From first meeting Yousef when our house was valued through to dealing with Oscar managing our viewings to Dane completing all the activities required after we accepted an offer. It only took 6 weeks to get a good offer on our house, which we were really pleased with. One of the things I thought Oaks were very good at was communication - we were always kept updated with what was happening, did not need to chase for updates and I love the way they set up a WhatsApp group with me - working full time it’s not always easy to find the time to ring the Estate Agent or take a call from them so this meant we had a second, flexible method of communication. Really simple but incredibly effective. Oaks also have a panel of people they can recommend to you, for example solicitors, surveyors etc. Oaks made the whole process so easy. I would definitely recommend them.

We had a very positive experience selling our house through Oaks in South Norwood. The team was very successful in securing viewings for us and ultimately finding us a buyer quickly. They worked well together and all kept up to speed with the sale. Communication was good and we liked the use of WhatsApp for this. There were a couple of times where obtaining updates on the rest of the chain was a little difficult, but the Oaks team excelled at the point where it really mattered - we had some complications elsewhere in the chain and Dane was incredibly proactive at contacting the other parties to resolve issues and keep things moving. Overall we would recommend Oaks for anyone looking to sell their property.

I purchased a flat with Oaks Estate Agents in South Norwood, and had the pleasure of working with Dane. Given a previous negative experience with another estate agency, I was quite apprehensive at first to go through the buying process again. However, Dane was fully aware of my concerns and did everything in his power to ensure that experience did not occur again. His communication was exceptional throughout the entire process. He kept all parties well-informed and was always available to answer any questions I had. I particularly appreciated his honesty and straightforwardness—he never sugarcoated any of the situations, providing a clear and realistic picture of what was happening. Although the exchange process did take a few months, Dane remained diligent and committed to seeing the sale through. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure that I could complete this purchase! I highly recommend Oaks South Norwood to anyone looking to buy in the area.

Superb Service from Dane and Daniel in the South Norwood office from initial offer to completion.
Dane was always on hand to answer our at times, very random, first time buyer questions, ensuring we were kept informed on next steps and up to date on progress of the purchase. Dane was a great conduit between everyone in the chain and ensured things kept progressing, unblocking delays when they arose.
Thanks for all of your hardwork Dane - it made our first time buyer experience one to remember!

After initially being with KFH, and then Streets Ahead, I can wholeheartedly recommend Oaks for selling your home if your house is in the South Norwood/Addiscombe areas. Most recently, Dane did a fantastic job from beginning to end: from getting the viewings in, the negotiation to get us under offer, the liaising with solicitors (on both sides), and (of course) the all important chasing to keep the chain moving. Dane was proactive and didn't rest on his laurels; he took a lot of the stress out of the process for us, which we are very thankful for. In our view, Oaks are, hands-down, the best local estate agent you can go with. So don't be cheap on the commission fee, you really do get what you pay for!

We’ve had the best experience with Oaks selling our home! They put in so much effort and hard work to actively get viewings in and always kept us updated throughout. Daniel was great from start to finish with his advice and time spent on the phone explaining things to me! I have no doubt it’s thanks to Daniel and Dane and the rest of the team that we are due to move just 4 months after going live! Would highly recommend!
