Our experience of selling through Osprey was hugely positive from the beginning to the end of the process. Angela was excellent: calm; communicative and extremely knowledgeable about the market. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and although she was on leave during the period in which two offers were made on our property, she made herself available to liaise between us and the prospective buyers. I can’t recommend her and the rest of the team highly enough and would definitely use Osprey again if the opportunity arose.

Sarah Donner and the team at Oundle are brilliant. We had tried to sell a property for six months with another local agent - no success. Sarah and her team were incredibly supportive and found a buyer within weeks, Then, because of a very inefficient firm of solicitors, the sale dragged on. Sarah came to the rescue and suggested an alternative solicitor who has completed the sale in record time so the buyer who had waited so patiently could move in.. Aspire lettings do an outstanding job for their tenants, from first viewing to post moving in. All the staff have been professional, empathetic, responsive and knowledgeable. They take the time to get to know you, I get welcomed by name when I go to their offices and seem to work in my best interests at all times. They mediate well too, liaison between landlord and tenant can always be a little tricky, subjective and they do this very well always ensuring each parties responsibilities are upheld and met. Aspire seemed really great agents at first, unfortunately, they took a horrendous amount of time to respond to emails following the initial viewing- agent was on holiday but nothing to inform me of this. Pulled a typical agent tactic expressing lots of interest in order to secure the property faster which I didn’t appreciate. The referencing took forever to complete despite having extensive info from both myself and employers. They did not communicate effectively with the landlord which caused problems 2 days before the agreed move in date, revised the tenancy agreement without my knowing and sent a copy that did not reflect what we had discussed. Oh- and we’re also more than happy to throw invoices my way all the while this was happening with absolutely 0 breakdown of fees or confirmation of letting. Shame to rant but hopefully they’ll improve.

We cannot recommend Aspire highly enough and Sarah and Emily in particular. They are a breath of fresh air in the world of estate agents where lying and poor customer service is generally the norm. We were searching for a property and right from the outset they took the time to listen carefully to understand our needs and subsequently only contacted us to view relevant properties. Most estate agents just add you to their bulk mailing list so you receive a constant stream of unsuitable listings but this was not the case with Aspire. During viewings they were honest and transparent and always responded to subsequent enquiries in a timely manner. They also always followed up viewings with a feedback call, which you would expect if you were selling through them but is certainly not the case with their local competitors! Therefore, whether you are buying or selling a property in Oundle or the surrounding area, these are definitely the guys to use!!

I wish I could leave a 0 star review as the treatment my sister has received from these agents and the associated landlord has been utterly disgusting. As if it wasn't bad enough that the property was in a dire state cleanliness wise, along with a single wall being painted vomit green, one of the large windows in the living area was cracked and seemed like it could break at any minute. You would expect this to be fixed immediately, however it actually took 7 months for it to be fixed, by which point my sister had reached breaking point and had started the purchase of a new property. However, the window was not the worst of the issues, as around 4 months into their tenancy my sister and her boyfriend found that there was a rat infestation. Again, you would expect this to be tended to as a matter of urgency given the health and safety risk, yet when told about the issue the company advised my sister to just get some traps herself instead of them hiring a professional to clear the problem, which would be fulfilling their contractual duty. Of course that would be too much to ask of a lettings agent and a landlord. Do not use this lettings agent unless you want to be constantly messed around for the duration of your tenancy.

If i could leave 0* I would.
Lived amongst mice, rats and broken windows since day 1. The window was fixed after 7 months (they broke it before I moved in), and the vermin infestation never ceased and continues to this day.
They entered the property multiple times without our permission, and regularly flouted any contractual boundaries.
They seem to get away with this subpar service because they work on behalf of a trust, claiming they have no money to fix any issues at the property. Not being able to complete contractual obligations is obviously a huge red flag for any lettings agency!
Avoid at all costs (unless you have a particular interest in living alongside mice).

We have been trying to move for quite some time now and nothing has been quite right, it is such a big venture as we want this property to be our forever home. Lovely Emily shown my Husband and I around a BEAUTIFUL flat in Oundle a few weeks ago. We viewed a house just after with Just Lets and decided to go with the "practical house" rather than the "Wow! flat". Unfortunately, Just Lets weren't very transparent with us and offered the house to someone else on the 11th hour after telling me, "it's yours".
I contacted lovely Emily just after and obviously the gorgeous flat had gone as time had progressed by this point.
She was so helpful and professional. It would have been very easy for her to muddy the waters with her competition after their bad practices. But she didn't. She was sympathetic and has kept in contact to try to help us find somewhere.
What I know of Emily;
Trustworthy. Professional. Caring and efficient. I would recommend her every time. I *wish* I'd have gone with her in the first place!

I would highly recommend Aspire Lettings! Emily has been professional, charming, efficient and highly dedicated from day 1! Her attention to detail is incredible and has helped us with our first ever buy to let, finding a tenant within 24 hours of being handed the keys!
Her charges are reasonable, fair, clear and transparent. She responds almost immediately to any emails and enquirers, and am sure she offers the same level of care and service to my tenants too which is a relief!

In addition, she is committed to finding people a home; seemingly irrespective of whether Aspire Lettings will benefit from a 'sale'.
