Paolo and the Pickwick team were fantastic in both selling our flat and helping us find our new house. Paolo was honest and clear during valuation and swiftly sold our flat in only one day of viewings. He then helped us find our next house. During the sale and purchase he stayed informed and never let the timeline slip. We felt like Paolo was always going above and beyond what’s typical for estate agents during the conveyancing process. Paolo ulivi stole this business off my brother and our family who had actually funded the purchase as well as all other aspects of any start up business ie. cars, computers software etc, and my brother had created the concepts, design and functionality of this estate agent. Inviting mr ulivi to join him as his partner. While my brother was dealing with severe mental health issues Mr ulivi took opportunity to cut our family out of the business and fraudulently removed him off customs House as a par owner aswell as defrauding my parents of both the return of their loaned pension lump sums that was used to buy and cover the start up and maintenance of the business for well over the first 3-4 years of term. At a point when they were too ill and he getting on in life to pursue him through the extremely expensive legal routes considering all their money they had lent the business hadn't and still has not been repaid. Let alone dividends my brother was entitled to He is clearly a con man of highest degree. Avoid at all costs.... Read more

I am so very grateful to Paolo at Pickwick for making the sale of my flat a much less stressful experience than it could have been. Fantastic service! I cannot recommend Pickwick estates enough. Right from the initial quote to completion. Paolo was always available to chat and sort any problem. We had a few issues which Paolo was able to resolve quickly and efficiently. He has contacts with trades people who were able to quote and work quickly which helped get the sale through. We were living away and Paolo and his team kept an eye on the house and facilitated various viewings for surveys, workmen etc. He really did go above and beyond any other estate agent. I've moved house about half and dozen times and without question, Pickwick Estates is the best estate agent that I've worked with. Paolo worked tirelessly to get viewings , communicated sensitively with our tenants to access the house, and then helped us to negotiate a good price for the property. He also stayed regularly in touch during the process to completion, offering advice, smoothing over bumps in the road and generally giving us the confidence that the sale would be concluded successfully. We put our house up for sale just before the pandemic which explains why it took a while to sell, but that was not through lack of effort from Pickwicks who as soon as they could safely do so arranged viewings. When we accepted an offer they were extremely responsive, professional and thorough in a particularly difficult time with the uncertainties of the market due to covid and the pressure of stamp duty holidays. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pickwick Estates. I met with several agents before deciding to appoint them, and found them to be extremely friendly, easy to deal with, and that their fee was very reasonable in comparison to competitors. I had put my flat on the market 2 years previously with a well-known chain estate agent and had encountered various problems and wasted months of stress, eventually taking it off the market - this time round I chose Pickwick Estates and the whole experience was a breath of fresh air in comparison! Pickwick are extremely unprofessional and have zero respect for people and their wellbeing. As tenants in a house they were recruited to sell, they were completely ignored the fact that we were shielding during the pandemic. Despite telling them multiple times, their representatives, photographers and surveyors all came to the house without masks or gloves, touched things without permission, and we had a surveyor at the house at 8:30am without any warning at all. "I love it when stereotypes are broken. And Pickwick Estates - Paolo, Taj and Hilmi - broke down the stereotypical vision of the awful, untrustworthy, manipulative estate agent that is so often perpetuated. I have known Paolo since he kindly agreed to offer me a probate valuation on the house when my Mum died in March 2015 - and now (Oct 2019) we have just completed the sale of the house. Everyone on the team has been thoughtful, kind, caring - the most important factors for me - and also experienced in their field, knowledgeable, residents of the local area, excellent advocates for my interests - and they genuinely want a mutually happy outcome for all those involved in the buying/selling of a home. For something that was a major challenge for me - the separation from my family home - I was very relieved to have the support of Paolo, Taj and Hilmi, making the experience considerably easier in many ways.
