Honestly I don’t really understand all of the 5 star reviews on here and the website. My experience with reeds rains has been absolutely shocking. To start off my bedroom had no heating or insulation, and was told to use the tiny portable heater until I asked for heating to be installed, following the flu I had resulting from this.
Through the whole 12 month tenancy from the day we moved in there was a leak, resulting in us leaving around a month early as it wasn’t safe to be there, water leaking into plug sockets and al over the hob. We were refused any compensation for this and quite frankly every time I spoke to reeds rains the level of care for us was basically non existent. Yes workers were sent but they were very shoddy and only providing temporary solutions.
When Olivia worked there we all felt very fobbed off by her and put on the back burner, my experience with other staff there wasn’t great either. I have only spoken to Tia a couple of times and she has been great, the new lettings manager has apologised to one of the other tenants for the issues we have had but sadly too little too late. I am greatly disappointed in my experience with reeds rains, days to reply to emails now it seems and lack of communication and duty of care overall is shocking- please save yourself the problems and rent elsewhere.

Great experience buying our first home through reeds rains. Was able to view without feeling any pressure or hard sell. Felt really informed every step of the way. Super friendly professional service. In particular can't thank Sam at the hebden bridge branch enough, always on the ball, bent over backwards to get things sorted :) very much recommended !

We have recently brought a property in todmorden. Our seller had sold to us via Reeds rains, Sam their allocated estate agent was a God send! Honestly don't think we would have been in our new home so soon if it wasn't for her guidence and support.
The service we received from reeds rains was outstanding, above and beyond. I only wish we would have sold through them ourselves now.

Just sold a house through Reeds Rains (Hebden Bridge).
They were brilliant from start to finish. We chose them because when Matthew came to value the house he brought paper examples of properties he had sold in the surrounding area, He was really positive about the property when I think the other estate agents weren't. His valuation was absolutely spot on.

Reeds Rains, Hebden Bridge have just sold my property and from the initial meeting have been incredibly easy and professional to work with. Matthew advised us the current market valuation, which was significantly higher than the other agents we saw, and they achieved us a great price, in a very short space of time. Jourden, our Sales Negotiator was super efficient and always got back to us when she said she would, just really friendly and was quick to explain what the current situation was. I would highly recommend Reeds Rains for a quick, efficient sale.

I have previously rented a property through the Hebden branch and they were incredibly helpful. Having heard so many horror stories about letting agents not caring about their tenants this couldn't have been further from the truth. Any repairs needed were done swiftly. Wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again. Zack, Matthew & Sam are so helpful and always go above and beyond.
