Moving house has to be one of the most stressful things that you go through in life so when you instruct an estate agent you hope that everything is going to go as smoothly as possible. Fortunately for us we decided to use Rice Chamberlain to help us sell our house and they were excellent. At every stage of the sale James was open, honest and did what he said he was going to do quickly and efficiently. Communication was excellent, not only with us but also with solicitors and the other estate agents in the chain. It really felt like you had someone fighting your corner which took so much stress out of the whole process. If we ever move again then they’ll be the only people we call.

James & his team at Rice have been wonderful from start to finish. James is very up front and honest which I didn't find when meeting other agents. From initial meet to moving day took 3 months, Rice don’t just sell your house, they manage your chain, chase solicitors, give the best advice and calm nerves when things don’t feel like they are going to plan. James & his team are hands down the best in the business, best in the area & The only people we would ever consider selling our home with. Thank you for everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ??????????

I used Rice Chamberlains LLP to sell a property in Bournville and found the service to be excellent from beginning to end. I am in a good position to judge, because I have owned an estate agency myself, in another area, for over 30 years. All members of the team were always friendly and professional, and they worked effectively together, to overcame a number of hurdles that would have seen lesser agents flounder. I would happily use the firm again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a personal and stand-out service.

We've been renting through Rice Chamberlain for a year and a half. They actually just blatantly ignore our emails. They take so much money from us but do so little.
They are also dishonest—they have promised many times that repairs will be done and then they never follow through. The house we rent is in disrepair and poorly maintained, but there is nothing we can do about it- they don’t care. They are taking money from both landlord and renter and not fulfilling their duty to either. I emailed them to say we are being sent mail intended for the Landlord; but they never come to collect it. They do not care about their job.

They sold our home and helped us buy our dream home - as we all know this is a reasonably stressful process!
There are so many things that make The team stand out
- they know the market and the area really well
- Their experience in the industry is invaluable
- they really work round the clock to support you, communicate with you and keep you up to speed with progress / issues
- they problem solve to get you through to the finish line - this is so incredibly helpful
- they undrstand what’s at stake for families / individuals and have empathy and do everything they can to make it easier
- communication is really amazing - the use WhatsApp, emails, calls to suit your needs and this is invaluable.

Rice did a wonderful job selling our house. They were clear with their communication and managing our expectations and were always available to answer our questions. They gave us a realistic valuation and then delivered by selling the house for that price within a few days when we had really needed a quick sale. The photos James took really showed off the house well on Rightmove. After the sale they continued to be available to support through the rest of the process. All in all they helped make the process easy and as stress-free as possible. Thanks guys! ????

We used the guys at Rice Chamberlains recently and were very glad that we made that choice.
Our transaction was fairly complicated as it involved a probate and things didn’t happen in the usual order, so we never really imagined that it would come together. As with all house purchases, there were a fair few ups and downs, and at times it has been quite stressful. The team at Rice have been there throughout and their support has been invaluable. It has genuinely felt like they’ve been with us every step of the way.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this team. They are professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

I use Rice Chamberlains, in Bournville, to rent one of my properties out. They have successfully found a tenant for me multiple times. They also carry out check-in and check-out inventories on the property, something I value greatly, as well as dealing with the deposits etc. I particularly admire the professional, action-orientated and focused mindset of Maisy, Joe and Hassan. I like to see quick progress and actions being taken to increase the chance of the property being let, rather than a laissez-faire attitude. Keep up the good work team!

Throughout the whole process of buying a property, Aimee in Sales has been incredible.
Aimee is polite, kind, and so efficient. Her communications skills have been excellent throughout and she has been able to provide thorough updates and counsel as well as being able to speak to all stakeholders involved and keep things moving.
Aimee has been a delight to speak to and a source of support and I would thoroughly recommend going with Rice Chamberlains from my experience.

Had to call as sale notice attached to road sign out side my property and asked for it to be removed this is against bylaws, said they would speak to sign company to remove and not done!!!!Annoying as they are complicit in breaking the law

So thankful for the Rice Estates team in Bournville. Professional and efficient with loads of local expert knowledge and to top it all, a fab, friendly bunch as well.
Our recent purchase seemed to be fraught with ups and downs, but their focus and approach was always to help get things sorted and offer ideas and ways forward.
Definitely recommend and will be back when it is time to sell and move forward.
