Awful estate agents. I would not recommend anyone to use their services particularly to rent from. I was told on leaving the property that it was in good condition and my full deposit would be returned to me. This was subsequently overturned by a manager who didn't even attend the property, tried to take most of the deposit and refused to pay back overpaid rent to myself unless I complied with there demands although subsequently I successfully won this in Court along with costs. I have taken the dispute to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme for independent arbitration which Ridgeway are legally required to sign up to in order to operate but they have refused to comply with the TDS requests which has resulted in me having to report them to trading standards for stopping me exercising my legal rights. I response to your reply the house condition is what the TDS make an independent decision on which you obviously don’t think will go in your favour as you are refusing to engage in the process which has resulted in my complaint to trading standards. It’s beginning to look like we are heading to round two in court.... Read more
