I asked for a house view and then they told I should register with them prior to booking a view. I did it quickly and sent for them ID card copy. then when I called them back, they told the house sold already. this is not. a good idea to find email and have the personal information of people. please be careful about their trick.

I have recently purchased a house which Oulsnam were selling and I had a really positive experience. I viewed a lot of houses through other agencies and they were by far the best I dealt with as a buyer.
I had some shady experiences with other local agencies. They knew nothing about the houses they were selling, applied a lot of pressure towards using their broker, pressuring to increase offers beyond what I was comfortable with, and were often blatently dishonest.
Pleased to say that Oulsnam were the complete opposite of that and were nothing but professional and good to deal with throughout. Darcy really helped me to see the potential in the house when I viewed. Then Sarah helped to facilitate the purchase, was always very quick to respond and helped keep it on track. It felt like Sarah had everyone's interests in mind, seller's and buyer's, which was so refreshing. Anyone looking to buy in the area, if you can find yourself a house you love that Oulsnam are selling I guarantee it will be a much more pleasant experience than trying to buy with any of the other agencies in Bearwood.

I sold my house through Robert Oulsnam Bearwood (Hagley Road) and I can not thank all of the staff enough for their professionalism and helping with the sale of my house.
I particularly wanted to thank Annie Hirons, Ben Palfrey and Sarah Nourse.
I had a few issues with the seller which made the sale of my house slightly more difficult. However, Annie and Ben gave incredible advice and were always there to give advice to me and the buyer to help the process forward towards completion. They were always contactable, professional and also the cost was extremely reasonable. I am very glad I went with them rather than going for options where you organise everything your self (purple bricks/strike) I think without Annie and Ben at Robert Oulsnam I would have gotten less money or the house sale would have fallen through.
Right from the start I was impressed with professionalism, everything was so quick and the team were so helpful.

One of the worst things about selling a house is having to deal with estate agents.. or so I thought! I have been totally delighted with Oulsnams from start to finish. Ben shone out of all the agents I spoke to initially when deciding who to put my property with. I picked Oulsnams because of his calm and transparent manner. When they also turned out to be the most reasonable for fees I was even happier!
Ben made the house look great with photos and videos, and managed the issues around COVID visits with ease.
Caroline and Sarah managed the potential buyers and eventual sale, and I can honestly say they are a pleasure to deal with every time we spoke. How refreshing to use an estate agency you can actually trust. Oulsnams looked after me really well and I am so happy I used them. Very highly recommended.

FIVE STARS! ***** I never thought I would write this about an estate agent, but the team here on Hagley Road are truly magnificent! Professional, honest, friendly, helpful, humorous and they really want to help you find the home of your dreams! They make buying/ selling a home less stressful through their constant support, advice and great communication. Ben Palfry and Lydia Spencer are true stars here! (They are the type you'd be happy to spend an evening down the pub with!).
Lydia accompanied me through many house viewings and was very informed on each property and a delight to be with. It took me about 14 months to finally buy the property I wanted due to Covid causing a delay. In that time, I was kept up-to-date at all times by the fantastic Ben Palfry. They also have a superb financial advisor they can recommend; Matt Stone. What a guy! He managed to get me a great mortgage with Nationwide who paid £500 cashback on taking out their mortgage. Magnificent Matt was always on hand to handle my queries too.
So to sum up, the Oulsnam team here on Hagley Road are brilliant! Highly recommended to my friends and family and if you can ever oik me out of my new home, I would definitely list it with Oulsnam!

Whilst everyone on the team were all really helpful, Sarah at the Bearwood office provided an exceptional service. The pandemic presented a number of challenges, including a number of sales falling through due to changes in potential buyer’s circumstances as well the way in which people were approaching property. After suffering an unusually high number of setbacks I was quite anxious and stressed at times. Sarah balanced me out with her hugely positive attitude. I had the right assurances throughout, received excellent communication and Sarah went above and beyond to ensure all outstanding enquires were resolved in a timely manner. Agents don’t always know the stories of the people selling the property, but for most people it's a major event. If you want an estate agency that does not give up, works hard to overcome any challenges and offers excellent communication, then I from my own experience highly recommend the Robert Oulsnam team. I have experience with other agencies including those web based but in saving a few pounds at the beginning doesn't garuntee the best result for you. They have totally changed our opinion of estate agents, making what is always a stressful process as comfortable and caring as possible. Sold my house with Oulsnam Hagley Road a few months ago. All in the office were great especially Ben that kept on top of my purchase and sale. A sale that proved rather tricky but in the end was all good. Bens support was extremely helpful given I’ve limited time due to work so was great having someone constantly making things carry on. Given the nature of the sale it was still done in just over three months not bad really. You wouldn’t get this type of support via an online agent and to be honest it’s worth the slight extra expense for the fact it make life easier and the whole process much quicker. I know someone selling via purple bricks and it’s was an easy sale. 5 months later it’s still going on.

Would give 0 stars if I could due to terrible service. Rented out our property with them and paid for their so called 'gold service' because we were living a distance away so needed to have them keep regular checks on property and notify to any damages/changes to property. We visited the property after most tenants had moved out and found the property to be absolutely filthy, garden over grown, damages to most rooms and furniture we had left for tenants to use were basically stolen.
We allowed one tenant to have a dog but on the condition the carpets were cleaned professionally and any damages caused by pet to be fixed yet the house smelt like dog mess, there was bags of dog waste left in garden (piles of the stuff!) and the kitchen cupboards had been chewed.
Disgusted that we did not get ANY of the deposit back from this and most of the tenants in their care that did not keep the house in the same condition. Shocking and would really not trust them to look after a property especially when you are not close to check on the property yourself.

The team at Bearwood office are very friendly and approachable, as well as being utterly professional in their field. They regularly updated me on what was happening and I was able to secure a fast and smooth sale on my property. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone. My main dealings were with Ben and Jenna who were very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions I had.

Cannot fault the efficiency of Robert Oulsnam and Company estate agent in Bearwood, West Midlands.
From the initial meeting of the lady that showed us around the houses, the girls and the fellow in the office, the telephone manner and the quality of service we had was outstanding. Cannot praise them all enough and totally happy to recommend this estate agent to buy or sell a house for you!

From start to finish we simply cannot fault the service provided by the whole team at Robert Oulsnam and Company's Hagley Road branch. Within a day or two of popping in to discuss putting our property on the market they had been round to take some excellent photos and note down all of the key details. The property was online just a day or so later with half a dozen viewings booked almost immediately. Communication was extremely efficient throughout this process and every prospective buyer turned up on time with one of them putting in a full price offer within five days of our home being listed! As with most house sales there were one or two obstacles to overcome and again the team - notably Branch Manager Jenna Hill - went above and beyond what could be expected to ensure that the sale stayed on track right through to completion. In short Robert Oulsnam and Company don't just sell...they excel!

Robert Oulsnam and Co in Bearwood helped me sell my house around 6 months ago, and are now helping me with the purchase of another. I used them after another agent unsuccessfully listed the property for 3 months. Jenna at Oulsnams advised us on how to make sure we'd sell, and also the photos they took were amazing and really showed the house off. Their service was exceptional at all times, very streamlined, honest, helpful, friendly and efficient. We sold very quickly and had a number of offers. It was well worth the fee we paid.
