Really disappointed with our first experience with this estate agent. After £1200 spent and the discovery of 2 holes in the roof following a roof inspection and prior surveyor report, we were keen to get the repairs completed to prevent water damage to the house we were buying. It was then, after 3 months of a lengthy mortgage process, and trying to speed things up, that we discovered probate had not been granted with no indication of when it would be. A breakdown in communication somewhere along the line which really should have been conveyed towards the beginning of the purchase. Although, it is legal to sell a house which has not been granted probate, I would urge prudence when buying through Sage and Co. The 'wise' choise might be to go elsewhere. Disappointing for a company that has been around for a while.
