Savills visited our house to value it. The agent didn't tell me much about what Savills could offer, we did not discuss the percentage they take upon sale or how the process would work in terms of taking photos, marketing etc. He said he would follow up on email and I received nothing. The lack of communication afterward alongside the low price suggested and the conversations had on the day gave a strong impression that Savills were not particularly interested in marketing our humble home. Since selling our property for a much higher price than Savills suggested we market at we have viewed numerous houses with Savills and they just are not up to par. The people showing you around know very little about the houses, are booked back to back and more concious of the time and getting to their next appointment than letting you look around comfortably. Between checking their watches and suggesting we look in the garden and see ourselves out because another appointment was arriving the service Savills provide is a far cry from their competitors on the market, as well as some smaller agencies who are quite frankly putting them to shame.

She managed the property we rented and was always there to help us in a friendly and diplomatic manner. She was smart, great problem solver and just gets it. DISGUSTED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT Notice how Savills only reply to the positive reviews of landlords but treat tenants very differently. Savills in Sevenoaks are the worst possible agency you can deal with. Amateurs at best in everything they do except finding every excuse under the sun to deduct expenses from your deposit. It's been 10 weeks and we still have not had our deposit refunded. We had loads of problems with our house with contractors having to visit 14 times in the first 6 weeks and then most items were done shoddily or not at all. At the end of the tenancy they tried to extort money with over inflated charges for non existant items. Stay well clear from this office. Not one single agency in town had a good word to say about them

I was helping a family member in renting a property from Savills, not a good experience. I visited to have some documents certified, the sneering receptionist dressed in a MooMoo must think she can undertake a credit score just by looking at you...she can't.
For 3 weeks Savills were looking at my family members guarantors, they required them to have £150k in their bank for renting a house, on the day my family member was meant to have the keys there was suddenly a problem! An hour we had to sit there, no drinks offered, no managers about, no help. Until we said we could pay a years rent upfront. Suddenly, someone from lettings was available to help. Amazing! I will never use Savills for any of my properties to rent or buy.
And remember...even though you may show million plus houses..they're not yours...you just work in the shop.

Stay away from Savills!
Had major water ingress on a £3k per month property that I rented 5 weeks ago in Sevenoaks due to poor building works prior to my lease starting.
The water ingress came through a very large crack in the wall in my 1-year olds bedroom and created mould growth.
I immediately sent all the pictures and videos to 3 different members of staff at the Sevenoaks branch and I’m sitting here today almost a month on and no one has agreed to deal with the issue.
I’ve made them aware that there are huge health implications to having small children exposed to mould and have also made them aware my wife is pregnant and they just don’t care. The ceiling now has water sitting on top of it and despite further videos and me explaining that there’s a chance the ceiling could fall down they have decided to not even bother emailing or calling me back.
Please please please do not rent a property from Savills as they literally do not care about the well-being of their clients and the customer service is just appalling.
It’s this sort of ignorance and professionalism that caused the young 2 year old boy to lose his life recently in the national news.
Savills, you should be ashamed of yourselves!

As tenants, we can but only highly recommend Savills Tunbridge Wells and in particular Rebecca Leigh who is our property manager.
We have been renting with Savills for the past four and a half years and have received nothing but highly professional service. Our property manager Rebecca Leigh is friendly, efficient and caring. I will share with you an example to give you an idea of her competency. In February 2022 when we had three storms in the same week, our heating broke and Rebecca managed to get an engineer to deal with the problem within an hour. But I would say that the quality that makes Rebecca extra special is how she went out of her way to deal with our now deceased landlady who was of an older generation and therefore not online. She liaised with her in person as well as on the phone and went beyond the call of duty to ease any possible stresses related with the rental of her property such as when new neighbours moved in next door and approached her regarding boundary issues.

The whole chain became very complicated and dragged on forever (no fault of Savills!), but Oliver did everything he could to get it over the line - he was pleasant, honest, and responsive at all times. If you need your house sold, Savills is really the only choice.

This particular review is for the Sevenoaks branch of Savills which is absolutely dreadful and has caused my partner and I a great deal of stress over the last year or so. We rented a property through Savills in the local area. Before and during the tenancy, they failed to establish a clear relationship between themselves and the landlord which therefore had a constant adverse affect on the communication and problems we faced with the property during our tenancy. From the initial application process and the communication during the tenancy to the eventual process of checking out, they failed in all areas to provide even an average level of service. They ignored calls and emails, often promising to get back to us but they never did. Whenever we did manage to speak with them, we were greeted with rude, dismissive attitudes. They shunned any responsibility they had towards the property, reminding us it was managed by the landlord - however they never seemed to communicate this fact properly with the landlord in question. They were dismissive, unsupportive and on one particular occasion- very sly! Not to mention, the immense pressure we felt from them during the uncertainty of lockdown back in March to sign onto another 12 month tenancy... Overall, do not waste your time either letting your property through this company OR consider letting one of their properties as a tenant. If you do, you’ll wish you’d seen this review sooner. We’ll be making a formal complaint about the individuals involved directly to head office in due course. Thank goodness we’re now settled and happy in a new property with an estate agents that have been great.

We have got to know both the sales and lettings teams at Savills over the last few months. Both are highly professional and approachable.
In particular, Oliver Hodges has been very impressive. He has given us consistently sound advice, and guided us through the sales process with a steady and efficient hand. He has responded to all types of queries quickly - nothing has been too much trouble.
Olivia Thomas in the lettings team has also been fantastic - very informative and proactive in helping us find somewhere that suits us as a family.
Credit should go to the staff who give viewings as well. Uniformly polite and friendly.
The Sevenoaks office is hard-working and positive. We would engage them again without hesitation.

I can say it with certainty that the customer care of this office is simply the best in the UK. Ms Theresa Wallace, the director of customer relations, is very experienced and sincere to her customers. Obviously she knows her work and she will get any work done in the most fair, honest and understanding way from the customers’ perspectives.
She will look at each case thoroughly and sincerely and will solve whatever issue you may have with your tenancy. I can assure you that if there is any confusion, she will look into it and get it sorted.
I am so grateful that we met her. I hope you don’t encounter any issues during your tenancy, however, for us, there was some confusion with one of the offices initially but once customer services were aware, it was resolved swiftly and it is good to use a company who listen and act swiftly to reach a good resolution.
She will not just leave the case to be looked into by her secretaries or just follow the perfunctory procedures.
To sum up, not only does she understand her work well, but she is a really warm-hearted and honest person you can truly rely on.
