We were charged over £400 for a sales brochure when they took an instruction to sell a property, without any guarantee they will market effectively enough to gain a sale. So I suggest going to an estate agent who includes the sales brochure free of charge on the basis that their sales commission will cover this cost. They did not sell the property & only got an offer £300k below their valuation!!!

When I decided to look for a new home in Windsor, I approached Saviles, a reputed real estate agency in the area. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Georgina Gibson from the sales team, who proved to be an extremely friendly and knowledgeable professional.
Georgina was very supportive of my search and took the time to understand my requirements and preferences. She was well-versed with the area I was interested in and provided me with valuable insights and recommendations.
When I found a property that caught my eye, Georgina arranged a viewing for my family and me, going out of her way to accommodate our schedule and make the process as smooth as possible. She was highly professional, polite, and made us feel valued as clients.
Georgina also helped me negotiate the lease with her client and submitted my offer on my behalf. She was proactive and responsive throughout the process, keeping me informed every step of the way.
Despite Georgina's best efforts, the seller did not take our offer seriously, and we were unable to secure the property. However, this was not due to any fault of Saviles or Georgina. Georgina did everything she could to help us, but the seller was intent on holding out for a higher bid.
Nevertheless, we were able to secure another house in Windsor, and the process is currently underway. I am grateful to Georgina for all her help and support, and I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a new home in Windsor. I am confident that she will be able to provide you with the same level of professionalism, expertise, and care that she provided me.

We purchased a house through Savills Windsor. The service and support we received from John and his team was absolutely fantastic throughout. With a long chain it was very challenging particularly due to some problems at the bottom of chain, but they gave us constant updates which were always very informative, and provided great advice and support. We really could not have done it if had not been Savills who were trying to make things as stress free as was possible. They were always honest, open, kind and respectful. I called Savills for a property I saw available for rent on On The Market. I was connected with Madelaine Cowdrey from the Windsor office and she has been very friendly and quick to turn things around. It took four weeks from the moment me and my brother viewed the property to having the keys.
Once we settled in she continued to support us through any queries we had. We were also put in touch with Zarah Naqvi (our Property Manager) and she has been very swift in actioning some issues we've had with the property since moving in.
My experience with the Savills Windsor office has been very smooth and pleasant so far. It makes moving so much less stressful when you have people who are supportive and on the ball with things to help.

I have rented from Savills Windsor for 2 years. The landlord believes he is being ripped off by Savills so each time something needs repairing so it takes weeks to get anything done and three different quotes are obtained and then the landlord sends his own man. If Savills use the inventory clerk Gary Stefan for your check in , double check what he writes. We found his inventory of our property to be full of errors in the landlord’s favour and despite flagging them up at the start of the tenancy, his flawed check out inventory has been unfairly used by Savills, as the basis for dilapidations. We are three weeks after ending the tenancy and £3750 is tied up in the deposit because the landlord and his new partner could not care less about the return of our deposit. Savills are “chasing them”. The information on the extent of the dilapidations is so confidential, we can’t even be told the sum of money involved till the landlord has approved it? Then it’s too late to challenge it, Our check out process, which also involved Gary Stefan, meant that any invoices put forward for things like window cleaning were just ignored by him. If no stars had been possible then we would have ticked that box.

Moving from Australia to Windsor, UK we were a bit overwhelmed by the rental market here. I had a very positive experience with them and the service felt like I was dealing with professionals who wanted to provide a top notch service. Sophie dealt with all the arrangements and a couple of weeks later I had moved in, so quite swift. Sophie was very responsive : emails replied to quickly; phone calls answered or returned promptly; questions were answered knowledgeably or followed up; no overpromising or other such nonsense; documentation in good order; very good administration overall. It was not an easy sale as the below chain collapsed twice. Our representative Fiona never flinched through the entire process and kept us informed throughout the regaining of our chain. For us, knowing what is going on is key and ease of contact accessibility to and from her was unquestionable.

Have known Savills, and Suzy Lambert, for many years. I don't really think of her as someone I work with, I think of her as family. She has helped me with many things over the years but the latest contact has involved selling my house. Not a straight forward house to sell for a number of reasons and as it turned out it was a foreign purchaser. I think we both know more about foreign purchase rules than we may have ever wanted to. But, despite the various hurdles and curve balls that were thrown in to the mix, Suzy kept a cool head and always found a way to progress. And she put up with my frequent chase ups and questions. Suzy has been with Savills for a very long time and this is a testament to how good she is. Usual story of them being better at selling their services than my house. They managed to get a lot of people(40 or so) through the door, but there were some major issues:
1. A lot of the people weren't well qualified - not in a position to buy
2. Seemed like there was zero follow up with the people that viewed
3. Basically No, None, Nada communication with us - we had no idea (though I'm pretty sure that neither did they) of the opinions of the people that viewed or where we were in terms of potential buyers

I really could not speak, or praise Savills Windsor more highly in general and Fiona Copeland and Emma Smith in particular.
My wife and I decided to finally "down size" last year having lived in the house for nearly 50 years! In fact we had asked Savills to put the house on the market on two previous occasions, but decided to remain a little longer.
In the Spring of 2021 we agreed to again put the Family home on the market. This time Savills quickly found a number of potential buyers and we agreed a sael within a few weeks! A few weeks later my wife sadly died and I had to wait until Probate cleared. Emma Smith persuaded the new buyers to wait and did a first class job of keeping them and me informed on the developing sisuation. I finally completed in March this year.

I've recently sold on Park Street in central Windsor and given the market, it wasn't a breeze. In Windsor, above £2.75m there's really on three brands to choose from and only 2 with a local office. All the guys and girls which work for these brands are lovely, but John is exceptional. He's got zero interest in the buyers car, or what they do, but has an absolute focus in their ability to actually ''buy'' a property, rather than just ''look'' at a property. Frank, measured, responsive, dynamic and honest are the professional terms iId used for John. On a personal level i think he's brilliant. I own and manage a property development business in Notting Hill and despite selling over 100 apartments there, it was great to have someone so steady at the helm when selling my own house. As a family we have had terrific support from Savills Windsor, their staff have been incredibly helpful and shown true compassion in selling a property on behalf of my Dad who had power of attorney for a friend of his suffering dementia. We were not getting anywhere with other agents who had tried to sell the property and we endured at least 3 sales that were aborted which just added to the already difficult situation he was trying to deal with. We finally tried Savills Windsor and they came up trumps. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Savills actively work with Community Service club Windsor Lions which together increases the ability to deliver help to people less fortunate, or to assist with health campaigns, for example Prostate Cancer Awareness, or Fun days for children with disabilities and learning difficulties.

Savills was able to secure a tenant for us, and we decided to let them fully manage the rental. We were very impressed by the team that pulled it all together, as we could not have done it, since we live overseas. The level of communication was outstanding and all the recommendations that were made by Savills were handled by them, without us having to do any follow up ourselves. The tenant was able to move in on time as agreed, and we are confident that any matter in future will also be handled in a timely manner. Keep up the good work.

I felt obliged to express my feeling of a debt of gratitude towards the lettings team of Savills in Windsor who had made my wish come true as a tenant. The Team did it with their exceptional transactional and documentation procurement skills that exceeds my expectation as a solicitor as well as a tenant.
These skills reflect its members’ ability to tackle the right issue at the right time and to do so in the manner and to the extent that made ends meet to the satisfaction of both the landlord and the tenant.
