Slades Bransgore were excellent. Nathaniel who dealt with this sale was very helpful. We completed three months from when they started marketing this property. My only concern with Slades as a whole was the valuation by another branch which was too optimistic. I only achieved 83% of the original valuation in October. Bransgore Slades were more realistic. We were relocating to the area and found our dream home being advertised by Slades in Bransgore. We had contact with both Adam and Nathanial throughout the process, they were both very helpful and the communication was excellent. Sadly, the seller passed away just before exchange (during the pandemic) leaving the chain in jeopardy. Adam acted sensitively, yet swiftly to suggest the possibility of renting the property whilst we waited for probate to complete the sale. Due to Adam's suggestion and guidance on this, along with the kindness of the family, the chain below us was able to continue and we were able to move into our new home which is close to our family and has been a life line during this difficult year - albeit from a distance, they have been able to see us safely and watch our little one grow and change over the 7 months which is time we would not have got back. As these 7 months passed, I got to know Adam very well, he was absolutely my rock during this period, in chasing for updates and keeping me sane as deadlines came and went due to various Covid related delays but I could not be more grateful to his team and the family for allowing us to start our new life in our new home early :) Now all the dust has settled and at last we can call it our own :)... We would like to draw to your attention Mr Adam Adski of Slade Estate Agents (Bransgore, BH23 8AA) who unfortunately due to his inability to foresee his poor judgement and unfeeling actions subsequently created a particularly negative and upsetting outcome recently. This could have been completely avoided however, our dealings with Mr Adski not only reflected a severe lack of empathy when it comes to dealing with sensitive issues but poor management and weak negotiation skills which should be present in any Agents portfolio, no matter what their seniority. We can only assume that Mr Adski is new to the industry, and is very junior so we would suggest several training courses if possible on how to supporting the needs of each client hopefully providing empathy where necessary, further to this a comprehensive course on the rudimentary negotiation skills required to smoothly handle all situations when faced with difficult circumstances. We believe that once Mr Adski requires the relevant forethought to see how a sensitive situation is best handled without reacting purely for his own ends this can only be an improvement. These suggestions do not come unwarranted as we will now outline the background that has lead us to this commentary regarding Mr Adski: A conversation with Adam Adski and a representative at Check4houses was held recently in strict confidence pertaining to a rather difficult issue with a chain which both Mr Adski and the representative at Check4houses agreed that due to the extremely sensitive situation of a lady involved we would together endeavor to resolve this situation without involving the client and proceed in the background to a positive outcome. Mr Adski was also completely aware that should the lady in question be involved in the discussions this would have an adverse impact on her health in particular our representative from Check4houses at the time highlighted on several occasions concerns that any added stress or pressure on the lady would be completely insensitive and therefore absolutely unnecessary. It was subsequently to our complete dismay the agreement was totally disregarded at the first hurdle and discarded as Mr Adski chose to directly contact the lady involved regardless of how much and stress and unnecessary upset he was likely to cause .To go against everything that was agreed in background did not make sense and would like to understand how Mr Adski thought this was in actual fact acceptable behaviour? Putting the personal and emotional state of our client aside - this action also added a huge risk to the whole chain collapsing completely, which again why we agreed to manage the situation in the background. Are you happy that this is the action of one of your representatives of Slade Estate Agents? This is not a great reflection of the company as a whole is it ? We therefore conclude the actions of Adam Adski unfortunately (and sadly) clearly reflect poor management and weak negotiation skills not forgetting a severe lack of empathy and we recommend as a minimum the basic training skills required before Mr Adski is allowed to deal directly with even other Estate Agents - let alone members of the public who we are there to serve in their best interests....
