Dear Emma,
My husband and I are extremely grateful to the first class team at Strutt and Parker but especially to you for all your hard work in negotiating on our behalf and thus enabling us to purchase our property.
We would never have believed that buying a house could be so stressful, especially as we have done this a few times before and that there could be such a huge difference in service one can expect from estate agents. Not only did you champion our cause with persuading the vendor that we were a serious buyer but you worked hard alongside our solicitor in resolving the many issues and obstacles in our path; not least our estate agent selling our property at the time who failed to understand the urgency of our situation and caused the contract race, we eventually found ourselves in.
Emma, as far as my husband and I are concerned, you worked above and beyond the call of duty; we were the last phone call you made at the end of the working day, not discounting all the ones made during, and the first call you made in the morning, as well as giving us your mobile number so we could contact you outside office hours should we have needed to; when we did you were amazing with your advise and empathy for our situation. Your continual encouragement kept us going and you didn't once give up on us or allow anyone else to either.
You remained extremely calm and professional throughout and I'm sure you would agree it was a long six weeks. If it hadn't been for you our chain would have failed and we would have been devastated. You were instrumental in the exchange and completion in us purchasing of our property, allowing us to finally offer our children a family home.
Not only do I sing your praises to anyone who'll listen but wanted to extend my audience by writing this testimonial to you. If we ever sell our house; Strutt and Parker will be the estate agents we'll call.
