I would like to clarify a few points. Firstly, your office informed me that the individual who originally managed my tenancy is no longer with the company. This is where I felt the “distancing” came from, as it seemed like my concerns were being brushed aside following their departure.
Additionally, the acceptance letter I received clearly outlined a 12-month agreement, which is why I discussed the contract with the agent. I was informed that the contract could be adjusted in our conversation , only to later be told by your company that the acceptance letter is an internal document with “no real legal status against the contract.” This gives the impression that I was misled into signing a different agreement than I was initially led to believe.
Regarding the parking situation, I was told that parking would be available, and was even instructed to visit the property to collect a key fob. However, upon arrival, I found that no such arrangement existed. When I raised this with your agent, I was emailed that the issue arose because this is a new development and that there was confusion about the planning and the flat i got didn’t come with parking . This was especially frustrating, as I had brought up the importance of parking multiple times beforehand due to no parking spaces in that area

I was assured by Oliver Wilson that a 12-month tenancy was available option , but I was instead signed into a 24-month lease, which I believe violates the Housing Act 1988. Furthermore, the incorrect information provided regarding parking availability, a key factor in my decision, breaches the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. As Oliver’s assurances are attributable to your agency, any misrepresentation falls under your responsibility. In your email, you acknowledged the possibility that I may have been misled by your employe but said because the message was communicated via WhatsApp that it wasn’t valid although you seen the message but yet it was valid enough for the agent to ask for money for the deposit for your company , yet you attempted to distance your company from Oliver, despite him acting on your behalf....
